CUCINA.eat In Cagliari

We happened upon this wonderful restaurant and spontaneously decided to eat there. The ambiance is lovely, the service is excellent, and the food was delicious. There were six different small dishes to choose from, plus the dessert of the day. Fresh ingredients and a wine to go with it. What more could you want...

We visited CUCINA.eat based on the Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand recommendation, but also after consulting with the staff at our favorite breakfast spot. It's a charming little place with a few tables in the dining room, a garden, and seats at the counter (bar) where you can watch the kitchen in action. (We chose this option.) A short menu, a few appetizers, soup, two main courses, and sweets. (Tiramisu was assembled right before our eyes 😀) Everything we tried was delicious. The excellent service is also noteworthy. The gentleman who looked after us guided us through the selection of local wines, pairing different wines by the glass with each course. Thank you very much for the wonderful atmosphere and hospitality. I highly recommend it.

Cucina.eat is one of those places where you feel good without knowing why. Perhaps it's the friendly, quick service, which never rushes you. Or the short menu, almost shy, yet full of freshness and honest gestures. The flavors arrive undisguised, with that lightness that reminds us that life doesn't need embellishment to be delicious. The atmosphere is simple, friendly, like a conversation that drags on endlessly. And finally, the cheesecake: sweet, profound, unforgettable. The best of my life. Perhaps because, like everything true, it didn't aim to impress, only to linger. Cucina.eat is a little gem in Sardinia that captures the essence of simple, joyful dining. The service is both fast and genuinely friendly, making you feel at ease the moment you walk in. The menu is intentionally small, but every dish is crafted with incredibly fresh ingredients and just the right touch of light seasoning—letting the flavors shine without overcomplicating things. The atmosphere is easygoing, unpretentious, and perfect for a relaxed meal with friends or family. And then there's the cheesecake... hands down the best I've ever had in my life. Worth visiting just for that heavenly slice alone!

I had an eggplant dish that was next-level, and the salad was just as impressive. But the real surprise was the cheesecake. I usually don’t like cheesecake because it’s too heavy, but this one was baked to perfection—light, not overly sweet, with an unreal crust I still can’t figure out. Truly the best cheesecake I've ever had. I can't wait to go back.

Exceptional! Stopped in for a quick lunch and we loved everything we had. Fresh, delicious, simple, & warm service.

The food was very good and well-prepared! The staff was very welcoming! The portions were perhaps a little small for the price.

Everything perfect. Informal, modern but far from banal atmosphere. Indeed, well-designed for the space of the place. All young people both in the kitchen and at the tables. Very well trained, serious enough, professional but without putting on airs. Ditto for the owner chef, with the bonus of a pleasant and not vulgar (finally!) Roman inflection (I'm Roman too but I hate the Roman heavy). Exquisite food, elaborate but without mess. Few dishes, a sign of seasonality and quality. Maybe a 0.1 under 5 the choice of wines (I think the list is still developing) but in any case nothing is missing. Well done everyone. Recommended place. I forgot, very reasonable prices (even too much!).

Wir hatten nach den Bewertungen etwas mehr erwartet, haben nach dem Mitagessen auf ein Abendessen verzichtet. Die Nudeln mit Pesto waren fast kalt, das Hähnchen Diavolo kam mit labberiger Haut.

Ambiente piacevole, informale ma molto curato; anche shop con attrezzature per la cucina, conserve e bottiglie varie. Il menù, che varia spesso, è un po' innovativo ma con le radici nella tradizione: eccellente. Ottima scelta di vini tranne forse nell'offerta "al calice". La cucina a vista, in mezzo al bancone principale a ferro di cavallo, un plus.
