Tourist review - this didn’t feel like a tourist trap to me. Close enough to the Vatican to serve as a lunch before/after the visit without walking a ton to get there. Food was really good, prices seemed reasonable, and the service was fantastic. While I didn’t love how much Gorgonzola was on my Quattro formaggio pie, it was still very very good. I wasn’t able to clean my plate, so the lovely woman serving us made sure I was happy with the food. Don’t expect Michelin star food, but do expect to have a delicious meal in a lovely atmosphere with good people. Edit: I want to shout out the owner for such a thoughtful reply! To clarify my comment on the Gorgonzola amount - I don’t think it was too much and a “less than ideal” version of the recipe by any means! It maybe wasn’t fully to MY taste, but it wasn’t overwhelming in general, and more about knowing my own tastes rather than anything lacking from the restaurant. My partner’s diavolo pie was DELICIOUS. So next time I’ll just order something else, or know to ask about going easy on the Gorgonzola!
