We stopped for a meal on our way from Syracuse to Taormina. Correct food, and that's all... Crudo disappointed us as much as Catania. We understand that there is a lot of traffic on Sundays, but waiting for the final bill for almost half an hour is a disaster... To be honest, the restaurant finally gave a small discount.

We booked a table at CRUDO on the recommendation of our hotel - for New Year's Eve dinner - this makes this Story more difficult. When we ordered the table, we were told by the staff that it would cost €120 per person - not exactly the cheapest option looking arround the competitin. So the excitement grew - what will it be? The evening was overwhelming, a fantastic menu with 5 (fresh Fish) courses, plus dessert, including drinks, wine and Prosecco at midnight. When the music came on and people started dancing, we realised that we wouldn't be going home before midnight 🍾😀. Dear CRUDO team - you gave your guests so much pleasure!!! The food was fantastic, the highest quality, it was a great, great value for the money! The whole team, including the chef, you looked after your guests fantastically and didn‘t forget celebrate with us for yourselfs! My wer and I, we haven't spent such a great New Year's Eve with such fantastic food for a long time. Many thanks to the whole team and .... - by end of the das, this is the reason, why I'm writing it here - unreserved recommendation for this restaurant! If my wife and I, we will visit Catania again, we won't miss out on a visit to CRUDO again.

We ate here for Christmas lunch on the 25th with a fixed menu in collaboration with Tre bocche and we had a wonderful time! Excellent service and truly excellent food despite the large number of seats! Very fresh and delicious raw fish, unforgettable and tasty stuffed squid, one of the best I've eaten lately, well-seared octopus (although I would have preferred stronger smoking), really tasty sushi, fresh and well put together! Both pasta dishes were really good and well executed, in their simplicity they really managed to enhance the goodness of the fish, I can say the same for the second course, which was a really well balanced roll of sea bass and salmon with aromatic and citrus flavours. The buffet of typical Catanese desserts was also excellent, the only dish that I didn't particularly appreciate was the tempura of prawns in squid ink with blackcurrant mayonnaise, trash to look at and honestly also to taste and furthermore, in my humble opinion the menu was already very strong Like this! We really ate wonderfully and had a very pleasant lunch looked after by the kind and knowledgeable dining room staff. Truly truly recommended!
