Crudo Cotto e Mangiato In Roma

I unexpectedly received bonus money on the website (the one shown in the photo attached to the review) and decided to treat myself a little. I stopped by this restaurant — and the evening instantly got better. The pasta was delicious, the sauce rich, and the portion generous.

We went to this restaurant last night, booking through The Fork. Everything was magnificent, from the welcome, to the menu, to the very homey atmosphere, and finally to the delicious dishes we tried. Everything was very, very good, and I think I'll be back, as it's also very close to home. I absolutely recommend the salmon carpaccio and both pasta dishes.

The food was tasty and well-prepared — you can tell the chef knows what they're doing. The sauce was thick and balanced, and the presentation was neat and appetizing. It turned out to be super convenient and quick — just a few clicks and everything’s done! I definitely recommend trying it out; it makes tracking your meals really easy and enjoyable.

A lovely, delicious place! I came to this restaurant a month ago and had a very pleasant experience. Unfortunately, we went when it was almost closing time, but we were very hungry. The staff invited us to stay anyway and were extremely friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, especially the gnocchi with fish ragù, which I still dream about.

Try the creamed cod, a world heritage site

I've dined at this restaurant several times, especially on weekends, and each time is a confirmation. The atmosphere is welcoming and familiar, with a rustic feel that immediately puts you at ease. The food is excellent, with dishes always cooked to perfection and truly delicious, with very original pairings, and a small but effective menu. The service also deserves a special mention: the waitress is always friendly and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable.

It was our first time there. The food was good and fresh, but the service and presentation left a bit to be desired. The wine bucket with ice, where there was very little, was placed on the table when other tables had bucket holders. The çrudo was served on a metal tray with two scampi and two tiny red prawns, not something you'd expect from a raw fish menu. The carpaccio was thrown there like rags, without a bit of salad or arugula. The presentation wasn't very appealing, and the scampi were badly opened, not from the belly but from the shell. We also had the creamed cod and the skate with gazpacho. They were very good, but the cod should have been accompanied with toasted bread or crispy wafers, and the skate, cooked with more flavor, was boiled and placed on the sauce. The raw fish, 2 oysters, 2 red shrimp, 2 scampi, 1 tuna tartar (very good), and two carpaccios weren't worth the €45 asking price. I repeat, everything was very good, but poorly presented. They need to rethink the plating and the proportions of the raw fish. I noticed something while reading the reviews and looking at the photos of the dishes. Has the chef changed? Our dishes weren't as beautifully presented as they were in the photos. The raw fish is always presented in a spartan way; it's not served on metal trays, but on earthenware plates, resting on a bed of lettuce or arugula, as mentioned. The prices are a bit high for the place, with tables set with paper placemats and napkins. The service also needs updating. They were very kind, I won't deny it, but the plates weren't cleared regularly. They served us coffee with the dirty plates still on the table, and I had to ask for more napkins because we only had one. Another negative note is that in seafood restaurants, you'll usually find wet wipes on the table to clean your hands after meals before you wash them.

What can I say? Nice place, kind and courteous waiters. The creamed cod is delicious, the spaghetti with clams could be improved. The grilled meat is good. Well done, well done!

Everything was freshly prepared, delicious, and beautiful to look at. The creamed cod was wonderful. The strangozzi with clams were excellent. The decor is welcoming, you forget you're on the outskirts of town. They offer private parking at number 55 for your convenience. Fair prices, and with The Fork, it's almost a free gift.
