I titolari Diego e Sara offrono agli ospiti un’esperienza davvero straordinaria, in un ambiente molto piacevole, con un’ottima cucina, dedicandosi con passione e cura eccezionali. Siamo stati benissimo. Il Crotto Montepiatto è un gioiello da scoprire.

The guarazzi are kind, the dishes are good, only the lady owner was a little sour. (I don't know what happened before with her). The rest payment 2€ he gave me with 10 of 20 cents without saying anything , left 'boom' in my hand. (How cool!) and outside we need a bit of lamp cable (the one used for parties outside the garden) to make the atmosphere nicer. (as the sun doesn't reach there we need a bit of lighting even if during the day).

The most stunning and beautiful little lunch spot. Very authentic, unfussy but delicious food. It was so tranquil and quiet up there on the mountain, if you want a peaceful lunch you should not miss. We walked up from Torno and it was completely worth the steps! Enjoy and thank you much. Highly recommend the panna cotta and pizzoccheri.

Very welcoming place, very nice and hospitable hosts, welcoming garden and genuine food. Apart from the cardboard plates (but there is a reason, let me explain :)) it is excellent after a walk in a delightful village. Better to book.

After 1h30 of walking from the Brunate path, a nice place with a small garden, good pizzoccheri, slightly tasteless polenta uncia.

22/01/2025: I recently went to this restaurant near Lake Como for dinner. Let's start immediately with the strong part, the location. The bistro is located inside a beautiful greenhouse, full of natural elements and furniture that recall the colors of an undergrowth. All accompanied by soft lights and a candle lit on the table. The menu is quite complete, elegant and complex dishes. Some preparations lacked taste. There are many vegetarian and vegan dishes. The service isn't terrible obviously but it isn't perfect either, you can always improve as you can always make small mistakes. The bill perhaps slightly a little above the true value of the restaurant.
21/01/2025: Excellent service and food! Don’t order too much - three dishes was about twice as much as the two of us could handle
