Excellent appetizers, superlative pizzoccheri. Also good is the polenta with mushrooms and gorgonzola. Creamy and delicate Braulio sorbet, perfect.

Good Valtellinese cuisine, good wine, quiet place, recommended. Two criticisms: they didn't serve the children first even though the menu was the same, the disabled bathroom doesn't exist and if indicated. Recommended place anyway.

We found a quiet place, with a not very extensive but well-studied menu, and very courteous service. Unfortunately the wines were a little expensive, but the prosecco we ordered was excellent. Among the best sciatt in the area.

We had dinner on Saturday night and I absolutely have to recommend this restaurant. It was all very pleasant, the staff very kind and helpful, the food was all good and lived up to expectations. The cut was very, very good, strictly rare, but nevertheless it melted in the mouth. We will definitely be back with great pleasure. Thank you !

Large outdoor parking reserved for customers. Really excellent food with good quality and price. The excellent staff, very welcoming, professional and friendly, especially Patrick Lena and the chef.... We will definitely be back..... Recommended 👍👍👍

An environment worthy of the name, it is reminiscent of a cabin and is very well looked after. Friendly, courteous and attentive service. Typical Valtellina dishes and generous portions, normal prices. Advised!

Durante una recente visita al “Crotto del Lupo”, situato sulle colline sopra Como, io e la mia ragazza abbiamo vissuto un’esperienza culinaria eccezionale. Il ristorante, immerso nel verde, offre un’atmosfera rustica e accogliente, ideale per una cena intima. Abbiamo iniziato con i pizzoccheri valtellinesi, preparati secondo l’antica ricetta con tagliatelle di grano saraceno, coste, verze, patate e formaggio Casera. Il sapore autentico e la qualità degli ingredienti ci hanno conquistato sin dal primo assaggio.  Come secondo, abbiamo optato per lo stinco di maiale con funghi porcini e polenta. La carne era tenera e saporita, accompagnata da funghi porcini aromatici e una polenta cremosa che completava perfettamente il piatto.  Il personale si è dimostrato cordiale e attento, contribuendo a rendere la serata ancora più piacevole. La terrazza esterna, affacciata sul verde, ha aggiunto un tocco speciale alla nostra cena, permettendoci di godere della tranquillità della zona.  In conclusione, il “Crotto del Lupo” è una tappa obbligata per chi desidera assaporare la cucina tradizionale valtellinese in un ambiente suggestivo e rilassante.

Siamo stati a pranzo in questo posto che già eravamo curiosi di provare da tempo, siamo rimasti davvero senza parole sopratutto per la qualità eccelsa dei prodotti e anche ottimo il rapporto qualità prezzo. Cibo tipico prettamente Valtellinese, buona la polenta uncia, sublime il risotto al bitto e bresaola così come i pizzoccheri e il salmí di cervo. Quantitativo della portata nella norma. Vino rosso disponibile solo in bottiglia ma con prezzo in linea alla qualità del vino stesso. Ambiente informale, immerso abbastanza nel silenzio, ci si sente come a casa; nel periodo primaverile/estivo possibilità di mangiare in terrazza all’aperto. Parcheggio e strada potrebbero risultare ne “abbondanti” ne “comodi”in quanto strada un po’ stretta per arrivare e pochi posti disponibili. Staff gentile simpatico e preparato, nonché molto premuroso all’attenzione del cliente. Prezzo pagato per 4 persone assolutamente congruo siamo circa a 50€ a testa.. consiglio vivamente!! Ringrazio ancora tutto lo staff e sicuramente torneremo appena possibile visto che abitiamo anche in zona.

23/05/2025: Truly the best restaurant in Como. Such a lovely experience from start to finish. First the Beautiful art on the walls. Service was exceptional. The food was exquisite. Best pasta we have had and the most wonderful fish. Don't waste time at Gato nerro, eat here for real food and experience, you will not be disappointed!! If this were not our last night in lake como, we would come back to eat tomorrow 😋
12/04/2025: The atmosphere was great… old house with a bit modern feel… The restaurant decor and design is beautiful. Very impressive. But stiff. The food was well cooked but a bit boring… and a bit overpriced (€40) for what we received… we ordered two different types of fish, they came with just fish filets, some chunks of potatoes, some olives with stones inside… The food was colorless. Tasted great. But you eat with your eyes first. Very little garnish and no color coordination on the plate. One really bad notice. The olives used on both courses had stones in them. That’s a big NO NO. The appetizer we ordered (Red Prawns) was fine but a bit overpriced as well (€40) for only a few prawns with asparagus…. There was a copero charge of €10 per person, most restaurants we have been to in Milan were about €3-5…. But that’s not the deal breaker because they offered us free bread and sparkling wine to start.. We planned to order and share two appetizers but we ended up ordering just one for the birthday boy.. Because they want to charge a minimum of 20% for any shared dishes.. we don’t even know what it means for“a minimum”… Would they charge 50% or 100% depending on what? We don’t know and we don’t want to know… We’ve traveled to different parts of the world and this was the first time we saw that… We always like to order 2-3 appetizers to share and taste different local cuisines… And at the end, we would also like to share a dessert…NOT EVERYBODY LIKES TO FINSIH ONE BIG DESSERT BY THEMSELVES… sweets are fat….sharing a dessert is enjoyable and very common.. Some pros of the restaurant cannot be denied: the staff were very friendly and polite… they greeted us, took our coats and saw us off at the end…
