Beautifully located, with outdoor seating and a refined atmosphere. Unique and distinctive dishes, the sciatt are truly exquisite, as are the cheese-filled bugne. Perhaps a little too much mushroom sauce, but the cold cuts are good quality. First courses include pizzoccheri and risotto with bresaola 👍 and gnocchi!! Fair prices. We'll be back!

I've been going to Crotto del Lupo since I was little; I've been there several times over the years. Last night I had the pleasure of returning again after a few years away, and, well, you always return to a place where you've had a good time. The atmosphere is welcoming, simple, slightly reminiscent of a mountain cabin. The service is attentive and friendly. But the real star is, of course, the food, and especially the CHEF'S KISSES. One of the most delicious dishes I've ever tasted. So much so that practically every time I eat at Crotto del Lupo, my "fixed" menu includes: Sciatt and Bacetti. A perfect combination! The prices are very fair compared to many other restaurants in the Como area. If you haven't already, I highly recommend trying it!

Wow, you remember, I can't write a review today, but I used to come here more than 20 years ago, I'm very happy that it's still there, I don't know who manages it, but a priori I say: go there.

Dinner at Crotto del Lupo is always a wonderful experience. Years pass, but the pleasant atmosphere of the place combined with traditional Valtellina dishes is always a guarantee.

Crotto del Lupo is a historic restaurant on Monte Olimpino, accessible by climbing from Como towards Switzerland. A "four seasons" restaurant, it's wonderful to gather inside on a cold winter evening, or on a warm summer evening, where you can at least escape the city heat by sitting on the pleasant covered terrace, in a relaxing, quiet setting. They also have facilities for events. They offer cuisine with Valtellina influences, featuring quality products, platters, pasta dishes, and meats. A must-try are the iconic "Bacetti dello Chef Bertarini," which have been a delight for both adults and children since 1978! These are a type of cream puff filled with a delicate creamy cheese, mushroom, tomato, and cream. They used to be served in a bowl with a small flame underneath (I recommend bringing it back); now, they're still served in the same bowl, but without the flame, but the unique flavor remains unchanged. A must-try. Reasonable prices, depending on whether you also order (excellent) wine. The beautifully preserved ancient cellar room inside the restaurant is worth seeing (or being seen if it's closed). Knowledgeable and very courteous staff.

A friendly, quiet atmosphere. Everything was good, excellent service; the waiter was attentive and thoughtful in every way. The owners were equally so.
