If you're tired of always eating the same thing: pizza, spaghetti, etc. Come visit this inn and enjoy traditional Italian dishes, dishes that will keep you busy for hours. A great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, the owner will translate the menu into French for you, and the prices are reasonable. By far the best restaurant in Dervio. You can go there with your eyes closed.

This restaurant is a marvel. We had a great time, with special mentions for the breaded anchovies and the mushroom testaroli (porcini mushrooms). Too bad we're leaving, otherwise we would have come to taste the many simmered dishes on the menu! If you want to experience the Italian atmosphere as if you were at home, tutti fatto alla casa🇮🇹, don't hesitate for a second. A magnificent discovery, I recommend it 1000%👌🤩

Dopo sole due cene, il Crotto del Cech ci è già entrato nel cuore, grazie alla cordialità, alla simpatia e all'efficienza del personale e soprattutto della proprietaria. La cucina è genuina e unisce la tradizione di diverse regioni, enfatizzandone i sapori in maniera impeccabile. Imperdibili i testaroli, ma anche la pasta fresca con il ragù di selvaggina e i tantissimi stufati di carne proposti come seconda portata. E non dimentichiamoci i dolci: anch'essi tradizionali e gustosissimi (la nostra preferita è la torta al cioccolato: calda e morbida, accompagnata con un ciuffo di panna). Il servizio è velocissimo. Prezzi onesti. Ormai è tappa fissa nelle nostre escursioni sul lato lecchese del Lario!

02/12/2025: I went for the first time for a business lunch. I was really impressed by the staff's hospitality. The place is modern, clean, and a bit private. The dishes were really good, high-quality, and well-presented. The business menu costs €20 and you can choose between two first courses and two second courses with side dishes. The quality/price ratio is excellent. I've already been back three times, and everything is always perfect. Also recommended for dinner. The waiters, I think Marco and Matteo, and the lady in the dining room are very kind.

23/11/2025: A delightful discovery. I was in Mandello for a visit to relatives, looking for somewhere to have lunch, and without a reservation (Sunday lunchtime), they sat me at a comfortable table near the counter. The dishes are few, but truly well-made, featuring local flavors (Minsoltini, Persico, Lavarello, etc.), but with a contemporary twist. The portions are fairly generous, the wine list is decent (it's an Osteria, after all), and the service is fast and always smiling, despite the restaurant being full. My compliments!
23/11/2025: A fantastic experience from beginning to end. The accommodation was welcoming, clean, and with every detail meticulously attended to. Ideal for relaxing and unwinding. The restaurant was spectacular: delicious dishes, high-quality ingredients, and excellent service. A place we will definitely return to. Highly recommended!
