It is always a real pleasure to stop at Crotto del Cech for the food, the kindness of the staff, the environment. Superb dishes that propose ancient recipes and excellent others from testaroli with mushrooms, to Ligurian ravioli with walnut sauce. Generous portions, but also half portions possible, honest bill. Not to be missed if you pass by Dervio.

The food here is soooooo good! It’s a family reataurant and the stuff is very, very nice. The owner explain to us what every dish in the menu means. They have only a few thing in the menu but everything is made with love and very tasty. They have only traditional food, so if you want to try something pure italian this is the right place to come. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Best place in Dervio.
We didn't book (probably should have) but they still welcomed us in. Wish we stayed in Dervio longer so we could sample the whole menu. The staff went above an beyond, explaining the menu and giving us a bit of background on who the food is made. He also spoke very good English. Food was just AMAZING. I wish I had the stomach to eat like the guy on Man vs Food because it's that good.
We had left overs which they packed up for us to take away and advised us on the best way to re-heat. The wild boar and venison was spectacular. A must visit!

After only two dinners, Crotto del Cech has already entered our hearts, thanks to the friendliness, friendliness and efficiency of the staff and especially the owner. The cuisine is genuine and combines the traditions of different regions, emphasizing their flavors in an impeccable way. The testaroli are unmissable, as are the fresh pasta with game ragù and the many meat stews offered as a second course. And let's not forget the desserts: also traditional and delicious (our favorite is the chocolate cake: warm and soft, accompanied with a dollop of cream). The service is very fast. Honest prices. It has now become a regular stop on our excursions on the Lecco side of the Lario.

Excellent restaurant which offers hearty slow-cooked dishes, with a special mention to the absolutely delicious wild boar pappardelle! The staff is very friendly, which creates a warm atmosphere so as not to spoil the experience!!

Forse leggendo le recensioni avevo aspettative alte.
Il verde acceso dei muri non crea atmosfera i cibi assaggiati rientrano nella norma con prezzi leggermente sopra la media.
Il servizio e molto famigliare come l accoglienza della proprietaria e questo l ho apprezzato.

Antipasto di salumi d’oca e di maiale; insalata russa delicata, cipolle e olive; brasato di asino con polenta; spezzatino di vitello con polenta; tortelli al ragù di Tucc; piatti vegetariani; lista vini limitata ma coerente con i piatti.
Dopo tale elenco è difficile aggiungere parole.
La proprietaria è molto simpatica, empatica e professionale, come lo staff con cui collabora: rendono il contesto molto godevole per apprezzare cibi, bevande e … chiacchiere.
L’ambiente concede quella intimità necessaria per trascorrere un periodo di tempo di cura per se stessi, in particolare per il palato e per lo spirito.
