A great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, the owner will translate the menu into French for you, and the prices are reasonable.
By far the best restaurant in Dervio.
You can go there with your eyes closed.

This restaurant is a marvel. We had a great time, with special mentions for the breaded anchovies and the mushroom testaroli (porcini mushrooms).
Too bad we're leaving, otherwise we would have come to taste the many simmered dishes on the menu!
If you want to experience the Italian atmosphere as if you were at home, tutti fatto alla casa🇮🇹, don't hesitate for a second.
A magnificent discovery, I recommend it 1000%👌🤩

We had a lovely evening at this restaurant and returned the very next day. The food is fantastic.
As other reviewers have already described, you feel like you're being cooked for by an Italian grandmother who truly knows her craft. The service is extremely friendly and attentive. The menu is deliberately short, but offers a suitable selection for every need – including vegetarians. A particular highlight for us were the delicious, homemade cakes and the rustic, cozy ambiance.
We will definitely be back – we thoroughly enjoyed it.

Dopo sole due cene, il Crotto del Cech ci è già entrato nel cuore, grazie alla cordialità, alla simpatia e all'efficienza del personale e soprattutto della proprietaria. La cucina è genuina e unisce la tradizione di diverse regioni, enfatizzandone i sapori in maniera impeccabile. Imperdibili i testaroli, ma anche la pasta fresca con il ragù di selvaggina e i tantissimi stufati di carne proposti come seconda portata. E non dimentichiamoci i dolci: anch'essi tradizionali e gustosissimi (la nostra preferita è la torta al cioccolato: calda e morbida, accompagnata con un ciuffo di panna). Il servizio è velocissimo. Prezzi onesti. Ormai è tappa fissa nelle nostre escursioni sul lato lecchese del Lario!

Ho già recensito il ristorante e anche allora come oggi ho dato un giudizio molto positivo.
Ambiente caldo e curato nei dettagli da Pinuccia ottima padrona di casa.
Menù con pochi piatti e questo è per me un plus, ma centrati.
Come si può immaginare dal titolo, ho mangiato il peposo che era veramente da applausi.
Buoni i pansotti con salsa di noci e molto buono lo stracotto di asino.
Conto corretto.
