Crotto Dangri In Livo

Hearty and inexpensive crotto in a beautiful location, ideal for a walk followed by a swim in the mountain stream.

Very suggestive place with a view of the waterfall, shame about the service, very much as if they were doing you a favor, furthermore the grilled meat was dry and tough, as if it had been made previously and then reheated, which you can give to foreigners even sell, Italians realize it. It's a shame, also because there aren't any alternatives. Prices are there given the difficulty of reaching the place. Important: there is no network, so only cash payment.

Rustic restaurant with friendly service. Unfortunately we are quickly inconvenienced by the smokers on the terrace. It’s a shame in such a natural environment. We liked the minestrone soup even though there were very few beans and pasta like in the traditional recipe. The polenta was a little too fatty for our taste, as was the meat (this day fatty sausage++ and pork ribs)

Siamo stati con amici in Val Livo e abbiamo raggiunto il crotto Dangri dopo una camminata di 3 km da dove abbiamo parcheggiato l'auto dopo aver pagato il ticket di accesso alla valle di euro 3,00 . Abbiamo pranzato con tagliere di salumi e formaggi, pizzoccheri e torta di mele. Si mangia bene e il prezzo è onesto. In prossimità del crotto ci sono le piccole cascate del torrente Livo che formano le vasche naturali di acqua dai colori bellissimi. Molte persone scendono nel greto del torrente e fanno il bagno nelle pozze di acqua freschissima. Agli amanti della montagna consigliamo questa bella passeggiata con pranzo al crotto.

Really nice, cozy hut where you can relax after a short hike from Livo. Small selection of food (3 different cakes), 2 minestrone, sausage platter, cheese platter, polenta, plus soft drinks, coffee, cappuccino, beer, Aperol Spritz, etc. There is no cell service or internet up there. Therefore no card payment and only cash payment possible.

Unique place for lunch! The route there can be done by car, but it can be exciting. You can also opt for a half-hour walk, you won't regret it!! At the restaurant downstairs you can swim in a river / canyon.

Hike from Livo to Crotto Dangri. Parking lot at the entrance to Livo. Easy hike with children (including strollers) can easily be done in an hour. Be sure to pack your swimsuit in the summer!!

Didn’t actually eat here, but super cool place to walk to! Would recommend and definitely stop for food and drinks if you have time!

After parking the car in Livo and a quiet, immense 4km walk in the greenery we found ourselves in this wonderful location where we enjoyed polenta ounce and fantastic stew 🤩🤩
