We returned to this osteria for the second time, and once again we were enchanted.
Our first visit, last October, was a triumph of flavors: a risotto with the freshest mushrooms, fragrant and creamy, simply sublime.
Today we decided to return, and it was once again a winning choice: a risotto with gorgonzola and raspberries, balanced and surprising, combining sweetness, acidity, and creaminess in a perfect embrace.
The chef is a wonderful person, passionate and kind, who, in addition to providing us with excellent dishes, also offered us a bitter after-dinner drink.
The prices are more than fair, especially considering the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in their preparation.

Restaurant très excentré en pleine nature tout en haut de Varennes, en y arrive après pas mal de virages. La décoration est rustique et agréable.
Le service est aimable et la carte appétissante. Le risotto est très bon.
Le choix de dessert est très limité en fait il y en a qu'un.
Les prix sont corrects.

Nuova gestione del Crotto.
I due fratelli che gestiscono il crotto hanno un'alta attenzione al cliente.
La cucina è tipica ma ricercata, con ottima scelta della materia prima a km0.
Nulla da eccepire sia sulla cucina che sul servizio.
Prezzo in linea con la qualità.
Posto assolutamente consigliato!
