ALL OVER: 4.8 Review: Restaurant Cristallo is centrally located in Lavena Ponte Tresa, right on the main street. With the new owner, everything feels fresh, beautifully decorated, and pleasantly harmonious. The welcome is warm, the atmosphere relaxed, accompanied by good blues music at the perfect volume. Even the appetizer – a bruschetta with fresh tomatoes and fine olive oil – sets the tone: simple, but truly delicious. Food: The Angus carpaccio with kale, the baked egg (runny inside) in the creamy potato soup with exquisite truffle, the beef fillet with peppercorn sauce, and the Angus tagliata on a hot plate: all generously portioned, superbly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Rating: 4.9 Ambiance & Decor: Modern, warm, and very inviting. Pleasant music, pleasant atmosphere. Rating: 4.7 Service & Staff: Very friendly, attentive, and hospitable. You immediately feel at ease. Note: 5 Wine & Drinks List: A large selection of wines is displayed right at the entrance with prices – transparent, good selection, attractively presented. I didn't see the actual wine list, but the impression is strong. Note: 4.6 Value for Money: Very good for the quality of the food and the overall experience. Note: 5

We ate here last night for the first time. We were truly satisfied! The food was excellent, the presentation impeccable, and we were served by friendly and elegant staff.

Note: The restaurant is dated and in the middle of traffic. That said, we had dinner for two with a friend on the terrace, which was beautifully presented and set. The waitress, very helpful and polite, even brought us mosquito spray, which was much appreciated. After a classic aperitif, we chose from the seafood menu. Tuna tartare, salmon tartare, tuna steak, mixed fried fish. Tiramisu and crème brûlée. Fresh Pinot Noir, two red wines (corretto), and two limoncellos. Excellent quality, especially the tartares, which were truly delicious, but nothing to complain about with the dishes presented. Price: EUR 180. Probably a high price for Ponte Tresa, but justified by the good quality. A tip? Don't charge EUR 5 for a limoncello, but offer it to your guests; it would make a better impression. Furthermore, the restaurant was desolately empty: it's true that it's early August and many are on vacation, but a price adjustment could positively influence a new clientele. Well done anyway.

Wir haben super gegessen und wurden zuvorkommend bedient Hatten Vorspeisen Hauptgänge und Dessert und alles war top !! Kommen regelmäßig und sind bisher nie enttäuscht worden. Guter Service
