Given the reviews, I was hoping for better, but unfortunately, it wasn't. Anyway, the food wasn't bad. I had vegan chocolate, coffee, pistachio, and alchermes zabaglione. All the products were perfectly adequate, except for one, but they lacked a certain oomph—let's say ethereal. The flavors were decently made from an ice cream standpoint, although the use of neutral flavors was perhaps excessive; more precisely, they were very fluffy, bordering on "fluffy." I found some impurities in the chocolate, I believe, due to the neutral flavor not having completely dissolved during preparation. The best experience was with the coffee and pistachio. The alchermes zabaglione flavor is incomprehensible... besides, zabaglione is a mixture where, in addition to egg yolk and sugar, there's always a WINE, from Marsala to other fortified and/or passito wines, never a LIQUEUR or a distillate. In these cases, it's better to use the definition "cream of..." In short, I didn't like it, even though I'm a friend of alchermes, since zuppa inglese is one of my favorite desserts. I'll definitely be back to try all the flavors and get a more complete idea.

A truly fantastic discovery! Criollo's keto gelato is a true revelation. I say this both as a Nutrition Biologist and as a new customer of Simona's. Not only is it incredibly delicious, but the quality of the ingredients used is exceptional. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Simona, who was extremely helpful and passionate in describing the origins and the care she puts into each ingredient. Beyond gelato, the bistro offers a versatile offering that can satisfy everyone, from those with a sweet tooth to those following a specific diet. You can clearly sense the attention to every detail and the desire to offer a high-quality culinary experience to all customers. Quality ice cream. Not too much sugar...you can taste the real flavor of the fruit and cream. Very welcoming place, with a really friendly four-legged owner!

I discovered the Criollo gelateria-bistro by chance and was truly impressed. I'll quickly overlook the beautifully decorated and furnished space, which I thoroughly enjoyed, with tables and chairs scavenged from flea markets and expertly put together (everything, including the bathroom, was impeccably clean). But, of course, the gelato! I wanted to try the sugar-free one (it's the ultimate test for a gelato shop, believe me) and I can honestly say: I've never had such good sugar-free gelato! Even the sugar-free whipped cream! I appreciated the quality of the chocolate and pistachio: superb! The gelato had the perfect consistency, just a touch grainier, just enough to make you appreciate the texture of what you're eating. Of course, the chocolate was fantastic, but you expect that from a gelato maker who named her place that way. The pistachio and hazelnut were also truly excellent (my children got them, the one with sugar, of course, and this flavor with sugar was also perfect, not at all cloying). About the Owner: a passionate and knowledgeable artisan. She wasn't annoying when she spoke to us, very restrained in her manner but never lacking in kindness and courtesy. The overall atmosphere was wonderful. The price, too, was honestly super competitive considering the fantastic quality of the product. I'll be back, of course. But I highly recommend trying it at least once.
