Cremeria la Vecchia Stalla is a gem tucked down a little side street near Bologna’s main square. Their gelato lineup is anything but boring you’ll find the classics, of course, but also fun twists like berry cheesecake and even basil pesto.
The berry cheesecake was really good honestly, I could’ve polished off a whole gallon without thinking twice.

Decent ice cream, slightly high prices, and friendly staff, who could, however, offer better service (even if it's in the ice cream shop). There are better options in the area.

Lot of variety, can try to pick what you want. Pistachio is really good, dark chocolate is a bit bitter than expected so pair it with a sweeter flavor than pistachio

Delicious Gelato. Great service. You pay beforehand at a kiosk by card of cash at the cashier. With your proof of payment you then wait until it's your turn. Went smoothly. The medium option on a cone gives you the opportunity to try 3 of their flavours. On our holiday we stopped here twice and yet there are still many flavours we want to try!

The ice cream in a bun is worth recommending 🤤
The selection of ice cream flavors is large, and the ones we tried were all good.
The online ordering process is relaxed and self-explanatory. The staff was friendly but otherwise unobtrusive.
We were satisfied, but the ice cream melts really quickly 😅
