This gelateria is well worth the hype. Loads of delicious sounding flavours and a strong crowd of people enjoying the gelato outside the shop. You can order on machines and pay by card then pick your flavours, or pay in cash if that’s easier. Service was a little impatient but otherwise the gelato itself was spectacular. So good that we went back more than once, even after trying other places.

The best, gelato in Bologna. The staff there was pretty helpful and gave us some nice recommendation. The pistaccio di bronte gelato is superb as well as the cookie cream one. You can't go wrong with any of the flavours actually. I also recommend tasting out the focaccia bread with gelato. The sorbet flavours were so tasteful, it was like eating the actual fruit (peach, wild berries).

Ne marchez pas courez y prendre une glace! Juste rien à dire les glaces sont excellentes. J'y suis retournée plus de 5 fois durant mon court séjour à Bologne...

22/08/2024: Discovered this place by chance a year ago, we are now loyal customers! It is a typical tavern, rustic but refined. Exquisite first courses, worth mentioning are the black tortellini and the semi-wholemeal flour tortelloni which are seasoned differently according to the season. Vegetables from the garden at km 0 and amazing desserts! Manuela knows how to entertain customers with her contagious cheerfulness! Every occasion is a good one to go to la Vecia Ustari 🍷🍝
