A pleasant, clean, and well-lit café—just like the place Hemingway described in "a clean, well-lit place." The owner is friendly, the service attentive, and the products excellent. A place where you can still feel that sense of timeless quality. Recommended.

The place is really nice, it was beautiful both before and after the new management. I went once for breakfast and honestly thought it was a bit pricey. Then I went back recently for an event, with dull faces, almost as if they couldn't wait for us to leave. It was supposed to be an aperitivo, but it was truly awful: slices of cold mozzarella on bread topped with "tomato juice," vol-au-vents with only mayonnaise, ketchup, or anchovy paste. No, really, I'm telling you, it takes very little to make two delicious appetizers. I honestly will think twice before trying this experience again.

A lovely place I recently discovered, even though I've been walking past it for a few years. The coffee and cappuccino are exceptional, and the staff are so friendly. I can't wait for warmer weather to come so I can enjoy a coffee break in the little garden out front...highly recommended!!!
