Super welcoming, warm and familiar place. There are many choices on the menu, the portions are generous and the dishes tasty. Good range of beers available. The owner also has a very nice aperitif/winery/cocktail place nearby, that one was closed but upon request they still made us a noteworthy White Russian!!

28/06/2025: I had never dined at ALTER EGO Everything was delicious and plentiful. Spectacular red beer but the blonde is also excellent. When I return to Benevento from Milan I will 100% return. Quiet place Andrea the owner is very kind Thanks for the evening

However, the prices are quite high for what is offered: the proposals are average and not particularly original compared to other pubs in the area. It wasn't an entirely bad experience, but we would have expected something more.

La Locanda della Pacchiana

01/07/2025: We stayed here for one night. The rooms were nice and air-conditioned. The complex as a whole is very nice, with a huge parking lot. Unfortunately, the restaurant wasn't open that evening, so we didn't get to enjoy the often-praised cuisine. The breakfast was good.
30/06/2025: I stopped only for lunch and found a restaurant like many in the area. The owner was very kind.
