What can I say.... I ate very well and they even gave me the recipe for sweet and sour pumpkin! I recommend everyone to come and eat in Ballarò with these wonderful people.

Seafood was super fresh and we had quite an amazing experience at this restaurant. Price was fair and staff very friendly! Try the Fritto Misto (mixed fried seafood) and Mussels Soup - latter was so thick and flavourful u won’t regret it.

Ballarò market, seats and quality cuisine! Hospitality and availability even for the tastes and needs of the most difficult. Well done in the kitchen, Giulia for the service and the owner at the glass counter (one of the few who protects the food and keeps it at the right temperature)

We found this place next to the Palermo market. The food is good, the starters arrived relatively quickly. But for the seconds we wait for a clock hour. They entertained us with more snacks, but we considered it unacceptable to wait an hour for a second course, when you are no longer even hungry. The pasta has a very original flavor. The price is good. They brought us coffees in plastic cups, a complete heresy! I wouldn't repeat. But it's Sicily...

We had lunch in the hustle and bustle of the market. Great atmosphere, very nice staff. The food was really delicious and we received a small, equally delicious greeting from the kitchen.

Rosario...una persona eccezionale che gestisce il suo ristorante nel vero senso della parola...una persona accogliente che trova una soluzione a tutto, che ha saputo aiutarci e farci sentire a casa... offre una cucina eccellente, piatti prelibati e gustosi, ma la cosa più bella è la sua simpatia che a fine serata ci ha intrattenuto...voto 10 al ristorante cotto e bollito,ma voto 11 a Rosario, che ci ha fatto sentire a casa....e le nostre vacanze a Palermo sono diventate magiche...e proprio vero, Ballarò è magia!!!! Top

16/01/2025: I often had lunch on the external veranda and even more often I got take-away pizzas. The pizzas are really excellent, due to the quality of the ingredients and the goodness of the dough. My average and not excellent rating is due to a problem with the domiciles. The place does not have domiciles for pizzas. The delivery apps on which it relies very often do not allow you to select pizzas and other times indicate the place as closed when it is actually open. It would be more correct to clearly declare that you do not want to do home delivery for the pizzas. It would be a company choice that would be taken note of. But it's better to know that if you want a pizza you can either take it away or eat on site, rather than wasting time on apps and then having to leave home or change pizzerias to find a place to stay.

30/12/2024: Four stars for the heroic effort made by the kitchen and dining room staff who guarantee an offering that is superior to the average of "oriental" restaurants thanks to the good quality of the preparations and the professionalism of those who work there who, despite having to face the great task of handle customers of all sorts, they manage to be kind and efficient.
