30/12/2025: A top rating! We tried the pizza: excellent quality ingredients. Plus, for me, the craft beer was a plus.
21/12/2025: This Milanese neighborhood, once a haven for escape and disinterest, now attracts young people, couples, and new ventures, bringing with it a renewed buzz in the art of dining. Impasté fits into this context, daring to launch a quality pizza where, until recently, the offerings seemed simple and sometimes unassuming. Let's anticipate the verdict: the challenge has been met.
Won thanks to a well-balanced dough, flavorful without ever indulging in excess, pleasing to the palate and solid enough to support—even physically—the ingredients that accompany it. The ingredients, arranged with moderation and judgment, are carefully selected and expertly blended: even where the pizza, on paper, promises opulence, the result remains balanced, without overpowering or overpowering flavors. My "Culatello" was a worthy example of this, as were the other pizzas I had the opportunity to taste.
The selection of hoppy beverages is decent, but the sweet ending is less satisfying. The desserts are visually seductive and arouse curiosity, but on the palate they betray excessive simplicity, leaving a sense of incompleteness that shatters the fond memories of the pizza, like a rude awakening after a restful sleep.
The bill and the location are average for Milan: the former is slightly daring, especially for the area; the latter is simple, but penalized by inappropriate air conditioning—perhaps it helps to limit the icy winds that pour down on diners from the entrance.
So come for the pizza, if you're in the area, knowing that the pizzas are a little smaller than usual: your appetite will remain alert, but I wouldn't recommend satiating it with desserts.
And a final note for travelers on wheels: carts struggle to find a home in these streets; better to rely on a stroll or a good dose of patience.
