Excellent fish shop and restaurant! Found it by accident, we had an excellent lunch with creations from fresh local seafood.

Excellent restaurant serving abundant and tasty fish dishes. The landlady is kind and super helpful, paying great attention to every customer's need throughout the service. In short, you are pampered from the moment you arrive until you leave! The environment is refined and intimate. Ideal for those who don't like crowded places. The "captain's spade" is highly recommended, for which I still congratulate you. It is literally a pan full of mussels, venison, prawns and calamari served with hot bread with which you can make the fish broth remaining on the bottom. Exceptional! Very advantageous prices considering quality, portions and the fact that we are talking about fish. Really good! I will definitely come back.

I think Costa Azzurra is the best seafood restaurant in Pontedera. Everything is excellent in a charming and well-appointed setting, not too large so it's not chaotic. All the dishes are excellent: I recommend the drunken arancine, the tuna calamarata, and the fried shrimp and squid, which is truly delicious: crispy, flavorful, and the fish is tender. The tartare is excellent, of excellent quality. The owner is lovely and very kind. For an unforgettable evening of seafood, beautifully cooked and at a great price.
