We went for dinner and found a large, clean and well-furnished environment, with convenient internal parking. You can choose between a tasting menu for 40 euros or eat à la carte. The tasting menu includes several appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, dessert, coffee, water and wine. The dishes were excellent, very well prepared (which is not always a given in a farmhouse) and the service was courteous and efficient.

During a business trip, I found this agriturismo, which allowed me to stay for a night in the area I needed. I was warmly welcomed by the owners with remarkable kindness and hospitality. While the rooms are basic and the noise from the restaurant below is quite noticeable, once the service ends, you can enjoy a good level of peace, despite the proximity to the busy main road. I particularly want to highlight the option to have dinner on-site at a very reasonable fixed price, with food that is absolutely fresh and delicious. I highly recommend trying the house wine, which is produced directly on the premises. I hope to return soon!

So we didn't actually stay here, but I wanted to note how wonderful the people here were. We had a bit of a problem with gas (didn't know all the gas stations were closed on Sundays, and since our debit card did not seem to work at any of them, we couldn't use the self serve option), so we tried to get cash from a credit card at a bunch of places and no one would help us until we stumbled upon this farmhouse. They were extremely kind and helped us with a smile. Bought some wine while there too, and it was delicious. If we didn't have another place already booked about 100km away, I would have loved to stay here. Will definitely bookmark and maybe stay next time.

Abbiamo organizzato il pranzo con amici e parenti per festeggiare il 18esimo compleanno di nostra figlia. Si da subito lo chef e la proprietaria si sono dimostrati gentili nel darci consigli sul menù e sulla sala dove poter ricevere gli ospiti. Abbiamo festeggiato nella sala che si trova sotto alla sala principale con ingresso separato. Tutto allestito al meglio, cibo e vini buonissimi. Tutti i commensali sono rimasti entusiasti. Consiglio vivamente, non farete brutta figura!

20/05/2025: Cover charge 3 euros per person. Dishes neither praiseworthy nor infamous with first courses costing 14 euros, appetizers and second courses costing 20 euros. What was served was not worth the price paid in my opinion, for example the ribs were enormous, fatty with overcooked and greasy sauce. The first course, a kind of green gnocchi was "kneaded" and tasteless. We did not have the "luck" to try the Varzi cake because "it ran out the night before"... The atmosphere is very nice and the staff is kind.
18/05/2025: A weekend on a bike, around the Apennines. We stopped by chance and...we came back the next day on the way back. Very kind staff, they made us recharge the batteries, both the bikes and...ours. The cold cuts and cheese board was unforgettable. When I return to Varzi I will know where to go.

Pizzeria tango ristorante

31/05/2025: Ristorante Tango in Voghera is synonymous with the pizzeria/restaurant of the past: large portions, very good food, friendly staff. I always come back willingly, well done!
