I am there as we speak from Germany for an evening with friends with overnight stay. Excellent food and service, own wine and grappa, really nice location, cozy rooms and really fair price. Pretty full with locals. Fixed menu which leaves no wishes. Italian hospitality at its best. Nice place to unwind maybe on the way to Parma. Would love to come back again !

12/01/2025: What can I say...very welcoming staff even though they were full they made us sit down so we could taste all their delicacies, one thing is missing from the photo which is the Angus skewers which were amazing if I were to end up in Pavia again we will return. Greetings to the blond boy and to the brunette girl who were very kind
03/01/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance for lunch. We were impressed by the menu and the brilliant offer, a well thought out and curated menu, not the usual platter with cheeses and cold cuts or salads. Fresh bread made by them: added value, as rare to find as it is highly appreciated Kindness and courtesy, excellent location overlooking the cathedral square, excellent value for money. Good cellar. Courteous. Advised!

10/11/2024: Ristorante d'eccellenza. Ci siamo stati per il giorno di San Martino, l'unico giorno in cui i titolari decidono di cucinare carne e non pesce. Un menù ricco di piatti della tradizione autunnale delle nostre parti: cotechino, sanguinaccio, bolliti misti, pasta e fagioli e dolci. Tutto curato nei minimi dettagli, ci si sente a casa . I titolari sono persone eccezionali che cucinano, servono e spiegano ad ogni commensale come fosse una grande famiglia. Tutto viene prodotto dalle mani sapienti del titolare, che non ha eguali!!! I dolci poi!!! Castagnaccio, torta di zucca, strudel e gelato alla crema, tutti realizzati da lui!!! Buonissima domenica!!!! Ci torneremo sicuramente per assaggiare il loro menù di pesce...
