A riot of croissants and other sweets that won't let you leave until you've tried a little bit of everything. Excellent, tasty products...fragrant croissants In short, the best!! We stopped by chance, we were passing through...now when we're in Messina, it'll be a must-visit.

Let me start by saying that the products are good. The staff doesn't wear identifying uniforms, and it's hard to tell whether those entering and leaving the shop are employees or not. The staff, poorly trained in ingredients, give answers based on hearsay; perhaps they've never read the ingredients book, which is mandatory if you want to serve at the counter. Another point to note: they have a wide range of fillings, all as good as the LOTUS, but they have no idea which ones are lactose-free, and for the record, they'll only tell you the lactose-free Nutella. So, for those with lactose intolerances, don't order jams because the counter assistant claims they contain lactose, of course not! P.S. The ORIGINAL LOTUS IS LACTOSE-FREE. For those in the area, I recommend the Lotus croissant.
