Paradise has moved to earth, and it's called Hotel Corallo! Perfect in every way, thanks to the entire staff, from the owners to the waiters to the housekeepers—helpful, kind, and very professional. Not to mention the delicious food. Peaceful, relaxing, and fun, thanks also to the wonderful pool.

Hotel with family-run staff who do everything they can to make the customer feel comfortable. Friendly, helpful and courteous. The hotel shows its age both outside and inside, with particular attention to the bathrooms which really appear to be very dated (hot and cold water knob). Personally, I did not appreciate seeing the air conditioning filters completely dirty. The breakfast was plentiful although not of the highest quality. The juices were undrinkable as they were diluted with too much water (it is better to buy juices from Eurospin but not diluted). Overall, for a one-night stay it was fine, but for a longer stay it would have become problematic. I recommend a renovation of the bathrooms and a reorganization of the common areas with particular attention to the external ones which appear to be neglected and not well-suited (we struggled to find access to the swimming pool which was also a bit dirty and unsupervised). The price is very high for the stars (3) and the service offered (2 adults and 2 children €180 + €24). I didn't appreciate the presence of dogs barking in the reception while they were having breakfast (why not have two rooms?). I must say that the staff prevented a gentleman from entering the breakfast room with two dogs, rightly for hygiene reasons (if I had known that they accepted dogs, I would have changed location).

Hotel Corallo is a nice hotel near Rome. We came here to explore Rome, initially booking hotels in the city center. Later, we opted for a hotel a little further out, near the beach. This proved to be a wise decision.
From the hotel, you can easily reach Rome by public transport. The hotel staff is super friendly and happy to help you with all your questions. You can buy bus tickets for €1.20 each at a kind of Italian restaurant called Primera; this is only for one way or the other. So you need two, which costs €2.40 total. As you walk out of the street from the hotel, you'll immediately find yourself at the bus stop, which is just one random sign with "Cotral" on it. Public transport isn't as well-organized as in the Netherlands.
The bus drops you off at the Cornelia metro station in about an hour. From Cornelia, you can take the metro to the city center. Underground, you can buy a day ticket for the metro for about 8 euros, which is recommended. The metro line isn't clearly signposted, but you'll figure it out with a sharp eye.
You can usually get off at the Termini stop (Rome Central Station), but you can also get off earlier at places like the Spanish Steps, the Vatican, and the Trevi Fountain. If you survive the outward journey, you'll be able to make it back just as easily.
The hotel's cleaning staff is very helpful; they do exactly what you ask and are friendly. You get plenty of towels every day, but they do smell a bit strange, perhaps Italian detergent... or the washing machine is simply in a small room next to the kitchen, hence the smell.
Almost all rooms have a sea view, which is always appreciated and very nice. The hotel is quiet, with a good breakfast, a lovely pool, a good restaurant, and excellent connections to Rome.
As foreigners in a quintessential Italian village, we were often looked at askance, looked away, or simply not helped by the Italians when we left the hotel. However, we were always able to go to the hotel restaurant; they were always friendly.
There's a bar inside where you can get drinks while lounging by the pool, for example. People here don't leave towels! It's very nice; you don't see that very often. In the morning, there are exactly zero towels on the loungers by the pool.
There are many elderly Italians in the hotel. This is nice, as they don't cause any disturbance and are very quiet.
The hotel is definitely recommended if you want to explore Rome, but also enjoy a day of swimming and soaking up the Italian sun.

The property is large, overlooking the sea, and also has a swimming pool for guests' use and a restaurant serving lunch and dinner. The staff is very friendly, especially the two young men who served us, Giovanni and Melissa, who deserve special mention. They were absolutely friendly and kind.

We had the best experience ever, this is the place to be if you want a compromise between proximity to the beach and beautiful Rome (you need to have a car though), lovely staff, family feel, we have seen many generations working together and it is heartwarming, it is a 3min walk to the beach and the pool is very nice. You’ll find a local bakery, a lovely family-owned pizza shop with other Roman specialties, and a frutteria within a 10min walk. Highly recommend!

We have just came back from our 10 day stay at this hotel and I couldn’t recommend it enough! It’s our 3rd time staying here. Enjoyed every minute! Hotel is very Italian, great size pool with a beach across the road. It is close to all lovely restaurants for evening meal just a walk away, owners are absolutely amazing, and I can’t wait to return.

Great hotel, a little dated, but equipped with everything. Spacious rooms, as well as the bathroom. Very clean. Kind and efficient staff, always ready to help in case of need. Seafront, with a large and very well-kept garden. Swimming pool and children's play area.

Comfortable rooms, efficient air conditioning, breakfast needs to be revised. All in all, excellent location and friendly service. You can see that the staff gives their all.
The pool needs to be completely revised, the water was very dirty, green and absolutely not transparent. You couldn't even see the bottom. I understand that it is difficult to manage and keep it clean since there is greenery around but a service like this no.
The alternative sea 50 meters away is precious.
All in all I am happy and I will return.
