Beautiful environment and very present service (if not too much...) but it is not aligned with the quality of the dishes. The dishes are well thought out and presented well but the result is not impressive, in my opinion due to the quality of the raw materials and the last mile in cooking. Good cellar, disappointing price/quality

Fantastic meal, best I’ve had in Italy to date. Steak was cooked to perfection, everything on salumi plate was amazing and the crème brûlée was also one of the better ones I’ve had. Staff were great, highly recommended.

My group had its farewell evening, at this lovely restaurant. Already the Ambiente was marvelous. You sit in a room like a library, but instead of the books there are numerous bottles of great wines in the shelves. And the food was just delicious. We had Fresh pici with Ragù di Cinta Senese Fillet of Cinta Senese with fresh chard and Vinsanto sauce and burnt cream with vinsanto and cantucci granules and everything was so tasty 😋. The owner gave us a chance to stay longer in the restaurant due to the reason, that we had as well some celebrations. That’s Italian hospitality at its best! Thank you!

Went in by chance on Wednesday evening, returned with extreme conviction on Saturday for dinner. Excellent raw materials that make every dish excellent! We thank Carlo and all the staff for welcoming us... we felt at home! We return to our beloved Sardinia, hoping to return soon to Florence and of course to Olio... see you soon!

The overall experience was excellent in every way. Carlo and his staff are excellent. The food is exquisite with wonderful flavors and perfectly cooked. They have special local dishes that are unique to Florence. I have been visiting Florence for almost a week. This is the best meal and experience I had all week. And I have dined in many fine restaurants.

The appetizers and pasta was great, but the steak Florentine was so so, very chewy and lot of membrane, besides the steak everything was great.

We had a wonderful evening with Carlo at Olio. It was such a great dining experience and we enjoyed it immensely. I begged my wife to split the Florentine Steak with me and we were very happy we did. It was fantastic as was the taglierini with truffles. He had a great selection of wines and grappas and also gave a lesson on olive oils and balsamic. I highly recommend this great restaurant.

Went with the family and enjoyed one of the best tuscan meals ! We had the their tuna tartare, lobster risotto, truffle pasta and branzino. They were all amazing and so was the worm and personal service. Will definitely come back and recommend anyone in Florence to pay a visit.
