A surprise. Originally from Naples, but out of the city for some time, we dedicate a few days of Christmas celebrations to the places of our heart. The convent of Cuma becomes part of it, for quality, courtesy and education, qualities that cannot be taken for granted. We will return, to eat the Genoese and more.

Here is a possible review: We celebrated our daughter's baptism at the “Il Convento di Cuma” restaurant and we couldn't have made a better choice! The location is enchanting, perfect for such a special occasion, with an elegant and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were impeccable, attentive and friendly, making us feel pampered from start to finish. The menu was simply delicious: dishes with attention to detail, with high quality ingredients and presentations that were works of art. Every guest was thrilled. First time Christmas lunch... it seemed to be in the living room of the house... excellent discovery! A pleasant place to enjoy and return to especially in spring/summer. Thank you for everyone's availability and courtesy.

Let's start by complimenting this "Family" where everyone works for a purpose (the love they use to carry on this structure) that is difficult to find elsewhere. The lady who welcomed us with extreme kindness and desire to make us feel at home and in the family. The dishes were not only good but delicious. The staff (of which I will only mention two names (Bruno and Iole); but I am very sure that they all behave very well with the customers. The service was what I expected, it is as if they knew when to bring the dishes and when to give us time to take a walk in the courtyard of the structure. The toilets were clean and well kept even though we were almost 100 people. Whoever brought the dishes explained the course and presented it without delay as if they had prepared it. In short, it may seem banal, but this restaurant impressed me with its good, delicious food and excellent service, also for the price spent per person. It should be underlined that lately when I have been in restaurants I have hardly found a table with fabric, in fact lately they only use paper table covers. So I renew my compliments. I would like to point this out to all the people who love cooking without an abundance of fat, who love particular cuisine but which enhances tradition and then the small room where we were seated and served was very intimate. We will definitely be back also because my wife and son and I had a wonderful time. A compliment to Chef Rossella who delighted and pampered us with her dishes. Excellent.

Il convento di Cuma è la destinazione ideale se si ha voglia di trascorrere qualche ora in un ambiente caldo e accogliente che ricorda l’atmosfera di casa. Abbiamo provato diverse pietanze e antipasti, tutti presentati bene e appetitosi. Il locale dispone anche di un bel giardino dove intrattenersi. Assolutamente consigliato.
