During our stay in Colignola, we had a wonderful meal here. The dishes are lovingly prepared and very flavorful. The atmosphere is very cozy and welcoming. The service is very friendly, warm, and attentive. Highly recommended. A truly fantastic local Italian restaurant 👍😘 and a great price for the delicious food.

I come here often and every time it is a real pleasure. The food is always fresh, well-prepared and full of flavour. You can feel the passion in every dish, from the cooking to the presentation. The staff is kind, welcoming and makes you feel at home. The service is quick but never rushed: here you can breathe a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Whether it is a dinner with friends or a quick lunch, this restaurant is always a guarantee. Compliments indeed: keep it up!

This review of mine is in response to the previous one by the keyboard lion "Amgine". I take the liberty of responding because I feel called into question, I was a waitress at Controcorrente from the first day of opening until December 31, 2024 and I have never ever been treated badly by the owner, she never dared to tell anyone off even when she had every right to do so. There may be moments of tension during work, but offending a person is another thing and paradoxically you customers are the ones who carry out bullying more and in fact that is why I stopped doing this job, certainly not for my former owner. In this case I am not speaking of her in the first person obviously. The proof is also that we have all remained a big family even those like me who have decided to change their lives, and we are few, because the staff has been the same for 11 years. I also know the girl who is now in the dining room very well and she too was immediately welcomed like me with respect and integrated into this family. These terms are not used so lightly to the detriment of those who work. He may be dissatisfied with some dishes, but he cannot allow himself to make certain statements if he does not know the person and the environment.

We came to this place for convenience, since we were staying nearby. It was a wonderful experience. We took a cutting board and a pizza. Super quality, excellent price, and helpful, polite, and fast staff. Absolutely recommended!!!

Locale accogliente e curato in ogni dettaglio, personale gentile, preparato e molto simpatico, cibo ottimo, i piatti sono ben eseguiti, ricchi di carattere e sapore una vera delizia per il palato..ed i dolci…da leccarsi i baffi…consigliatissimo

Ci siamo capitati per caso a pranzo dopo aver visitato il museo di storia naturale di Calci (si trova a poca distanza). Pizze con impasto molto buono, primo di pesce gustoso. Personale molto gentile.
