Contrasto In Viterbo

I've been in Italy for over two weeks and this was by far the best food I have had. Everything was so delicious. The drinks, the aperitifs and the main meal. Even the bread with the local olive oil was delicious. The service was also great. You need to come here if you're in Viterbo. I highly recommend this place.

My girlfriend and I came to Contrasto for the first time on the recommendation of friends, and... what can I say, it was simply exceptional! We had such a great time that we returned the next evening, specifically to celebrate my birthday. The quality of the food is astonishing: the raw fish, for those of us who love them, was amazing; the menu is full of refined dishes, original combinations, and unique flavors that transform dinner into a truly sensory experience. The staff is friendly, cheerful, and highly professional: they make you feel welcomed and pampered, in an intimate, elegant atmosphere with attention to every detail. My sincere compliments to Tiziano, his dining room staff, and the kitchen staff: their work is impeccable. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to treat themselves not just to a dinner, but to an unforgettable memory. Contrasto isn't just a restaurant; it's an experience that lasts.

Experience 🔝 We dined here two nights in a row. The atmosphere is comfortable and welcoming (there's seating both inside and outside the restaurant). The staff and the owner were extremely kind and friendly. The food was EXCELLENT, from the appetizers, the raw fish (we tried shrimp, scampi, and oysters), the fried dishes, the first courses, the second courses, and even the desserts (the brownie was amazing). Prices? Affordable and fair, especially considering the excellent quality of the ingredients. Highly recommended, we'll be back!!

Last night we went (me, my partner, and daughter) to this wonderful place...what can I say...now you'll have to put up with us often! Everything was excellent, impeccable service... charming atmosphere. Completely satisfied, I highly recommend it to everyone.

This is a place you either love or hate. In some ways, it's a top-notch restaurant, but in others, they could improve. The quality of the ingredients used is very high, and the dishes are beautifully plated, but the quality of the food itself varies. I had delicious fried food, light and crispy, served with a delicious homemade mayonnaise, but other dishes, like the spaghetti with clams, were bland and flavorless. The portions are very small, and the prices are very high. They have outdoor tables, but unfortunately, they face directly onto the street, so they're not in the best location.

Piatti creati con cura e sapienza, sapore ricco ed equilibrato in ogni pietanza. Ambiente curato e accogliente. Personale disponibile e cortese.

Ottima esperienza, cibo davvero superlativo. Serata con amici, tutti sono rimasti soddisfatti delle scelte dei piatti. Ottimo il primo (spaghetti cacio e pepe) buone le alici fritte ma spettacolari i dolci. Estremamente consigliato!
