Excellent raw seafood. Clean place. Mr. Saverio is also very kind and helpful. I recommend his dishes, especially fresh fish, to anyone who wants to try them.

Nathan, the guy who advised and served us, is very polite and knows how to guide you through the choice of dishes. Very friendly and empathetic, he does his job well despite his young age. The chef was excellent; we enjoyed the divine blue lobster linguine. The prices were fair.

Now a point of reference in seafood restaurants in Taranto. Saverio is professional but makes you feel at home. I often go there with my wife or friends (if I want to make a good impression). Recommended for those who want to eat FISH

Compared to when they opened, the kitchen has improved, but some prices are still excessive. For example, a handful of cold mussels au gratin for 10 euros is too much in my opinion. However, I repeat, compared to the beginning they have improved and the raw material is still ok.

09/07/2025: Tonight, for the first time, I dined with friends at the Gesù Cristo Restaurant in Taranto. The atmosphere was very welcoming, the staff were kind and helpful, and the food was truly excellent: the appetizers were exquisite—octopus, marinated anchovies, stewed cuttlefish, mussels au gratin, and sautéed mussels—but the icing on the cake was the seafood arancini, delicately fried and with a super tender interior. The spaghetti with clams and the sea bream in salt were truly exquisite. The sorbet was a fitting end to a perfect dinner. I thank the owner, Pasquale Caso, who, with enthusiasm and great kindness, told us the story of the restaurant's founding and its unique name. A place that completely satisfied us and where we will return every time we come to Taranto.
26/06/2025: I don't eat much fish... I was here 8 months and I ate EVERYTHING! I loved the fish! I highly recommend it

29/07/2025: A characteristic location in Piazza Fontana in Taranto's beautiful old town! Punctual and accurate with our reservations. We ordered fisherman's appetizers, excellent, well-cooked and plentiful first courses, and a mixed fried fish counter! You can easily choose your food from the fishmonger next door. Everything is fresh and tasty. The service is attentive and helpful. The staff are always very kind and friendly. A special mention goes to Mr. Mario, always on point and ready to offer the best advice. Prices are average. We will definitely be back!
