Nice hotel, large and clean rooms, very friendly staff. Just a short walk from the historic center.

A very comfortable hotel, with friendly and helpful staff. We really appreciated the spa, which was new and relaxing, with large relaxation areas. The Guest Pass to reach the cable car station was very useful. Our only comments: the room was a bit warm and there was no bidet. We plan to return!

Beautiful hotel, but even more so the spa Exceptional

The property is in a great location, although not very close to the riverfront, but it's still centrally located. The breakfast is varied and delicious. There's also a bistro, bar, and restaurant. The rooms are smart and functional. It's a great base, even though we were just passing through. I recommend it.

We stayed two days and two nights at the Hotel Kolping in Merano, and the overall experience was very positive. The room was clean and quiet, with a pleasant view of a glimpse of the town and the Alps in the background, which was appreciated from the small balcony. The bed was comfortable, but the pillow and duvet (a bit short) could be improved. Overall, the comfort was more than acceptable. The breakfast was generous and well-organized: a wide selection of breads to toast, jams, butter and dairy products, cured meats, and a few fresh vegetables for the savory option. The yogurt stand with granola, fresh fruit, and dried fruit was excellent. The spa is definitely one of the hotel's strong points: the hot tub is small but perfect for two, the relaxation areas are spacious and well-equipped with loungers and blankets, and the sauna and Turkish bath add a touch of quality that makes the experience truly relaxing. The staff is courteous and polite, always available. The location is strategic: the Merano Thermal Baths are about a 15-minute walk away, and the bus stop is practically in front of the hotel. The value for money is fair; with a few little improvements, the hotel could easily aspire to a full fourth star. Note on dinner: you can choose between two options for a first course and a second course, while the salad buffet is very rich and delicious, with many combinations of vegetables, leaves, dressings, spices, and flavored oils. The dishes aren't excellent, but overall, they're tasty and filling. In conclusion, a pleasant and relaxing stay, recommended especially for the spa and the location.

This hotel offers excellent value for money. Welcoming rooms, a small but comprehensive and efficient spa, and an excellent breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel for a weekend with friends from January 9, 2026, to January 11, 2026, to visit Merano and the surrounding area. I was delighted by the kindness and courtesy of all the staff. The hotel was very clean, and since I opted for half-board, I also appreciated the menu offered. The breakfast was very good and plentiful. I happily recommend this hotel and, if the opportunity arises, we will definitely return in the summer. Thank you.

We were your guests from December 6 to December 9. We had a great time. The room was clean and had a spectacular view. The services were equally excellent, especially the spa area, as was the food, with simple yet delicious, light, and beautifully presented dishes. We'll be back. Thank you!

Nice and well-kept hotel, excellent food, friendly staff. The new spa is lovely. Close to the center, a 5-10 minute walk, and the bus to the main destinations is free. Highly recommended.
