La qualità del cibo è ottima, ed è rimasta pressocché la stessa di quando mangiavo qui oramai diversi anni fa. La location è molto carina e ben curata. Ciò che è cambiato, purtroppo in peggio, è il servizio. In generale, davvero sbrigativo. Quando ci è stato chiesto se eravamo pronti ad ordinare, abbiamo chiesto qualche minuto in più, e neanche 30 secondi dopo un’altra cameriera è arrivata al nostro tavolo a porci la stessa domanda. Con l’arrivo dell’insalata di una mia amica il pane è stato praticamente lanciato, e quando due di noi avevano finito e una invece ancora aveva parecchia insalata rimasta nel piatto, le è stata portata via senza neanche chiedere se avesse finito, solo perché stava mangiando del pane e la forchetta era nel piatto. Non cose che rovinano l’esperienza, ma che sicuramente rendono il tutto meno piacevole. Probabilmente tornerò a mangiare qui, perché sia i panini che le insalate sono molto buone, dispiace solo che nel farlo dovrò sopportare un servizio che sembra andare di corsa.

Excellent food at very good prices. The gluten-free sandwiches are fantastic -- best I've had! I would highly, highly recommend. Well worth walking outside the walled part of Lucca for!!

Nice place, always very busy (reservations strongly recommended). The menu is particular and inviting, with sandwiches and other very appetizing proposals. The centrifuges with which you dine are appreciated: I recommend trying different flavours.

7/10 Everything is prepared fresh and quickly. Good choices and the service is in great demand and in stress especially around noon, but still nice and helpful. The ordered was good and tasty. Not sensational, but very good.

I have been coming to this place for years now on my lunch break from work, but with the latest change of management many precautions have been lost. I often also order takeaways and in several recent orders something has always been forgotten (once the cutlery, then the bread, the condiments...). If an oversight passes, today's behavior has not passed. I regularly book a table for two at 12.45pm and on the phone I am told nothing, only that the reservation was ok. We arrive on time, sit down and eat. There probably must have already been some problem given that a table next to us whose order had been taken after ours was served first, so we waited about twenty minutes for two salads. But it doesn't do anything. At 1.45pm, however, the waitress comes and says "Sorry, we need the table soon". We got up a little strange, but the behavior was not correct. We regularly booked the table in advance and no one told us anything, neither on the phone nor during lunch. In general in this last period the place has become very chaotic and the kindness of the staff has fallen by the wayside. Probably after years I will change places for my lunch break.
