A huge thank you to the owner, Loretta, and her daughter, Lucia, for the wonderful atmosphere, food, and drinks, plenty to whistle about, and for snacks and lunches, all of which they prepare with the utmost efficiency, care, and affectionate treatment of their customers, who ultimately become great friends thanks to the delicious, animal-friendly delicacies in their bar and restaurant... 12/08/2025: A wide selection of burgers, with the option to order different sizes and different ways to order (with bun or plated). However, I found the bread a bit disappointing and the fried foods too greasy.

Il Fornaio di Scandicci

12/08/2025: A modern, central location near the town hall and just 450 meters from Piazza Modigliani. Excellent cafe. They make delicious orange and grapefruit juices. They have prepared-on-site lunch options, such as farro; or baked potatoes or mixed roasted vegetables (delicious!) The pizza looked good, and I tried the schiacciato/focaccia. I managed to resist the temptation of the desserts. The service was attentive, kind, and professional—in fact, the cafe was really good.
10/04/2025: Really friendly staff, excellent quality products, delicious flatbread. Honest prices, very nice atmosphere.
