As a child I always went there with my parents, now I go with my children. Unfortunately I have to say that every time it's a little worse. The last time on December 28th the stove wasn't even turned on at 4.30pm and at 6pm they told us it was closing time. It's a shame because the chocolate they make is really good and so are the pastries, which however are a bit limited.

02/03/2025: I went to eat there on Friday evening, the dishes were good and the tattooed waitress with glasses who served us was very kind, cheerful and above all quick, attentive to the customers' needs even though she was alone in the room. I recommend this place
25/01/2025: The food is quite good, fast service and a wide variety of food. One negative is the staff. If you can't count on presence, at least you should focus on friendliness and friendliness.

12/03/2025: Cantinetta Allegri closed with COVID.. BUT YOU MUST GO TO THE NEW RESTAURANT THAT IS IN ITS PLACE! Trattoria Maga Mago. Excellent. Local. Not super touristic! Food that is in season. Excellent family owned -chef and service! Carciofi, tagliatelli, and caccio pepe today. We'll go back again this week. The portions were plenty big (in response to old review of the previous business)
13/12/2024: I was wandering around the area after visiting the Academy Museum. Decided to drop by this restaurant. It is not located in a touristy area, but it is worth the trek. The restaurant was empty tonight. I assume that it was due to being a weekday and slightly chilly eve. Nonetheless, I had the green salad and the wild board with black pepper served with tagliatelle. The salad was ok. Nothing to write home. However, OMG.. the pasta was so good. Highly recommend this place for sure.
