We discovered this restaurant on the recommendation of Cristina (from B&B Trucch)i and we were not disappointed.
For our last evening in Italy, we decided to try some completely unknown local dishes:
the BRANDACUJUN, made with potatoes, cod, and fresh parsley, absolutely melting and delicious, and the TOMINO, a very creamy sheep's milk cheese on a bed of caramelized red onions, a true delight.
All washed down with another local wine, the Pigato de... (I forgot the ending), a very smooth white wine without being sweet.
For desserts, we returned to classics, but with a twist: the pannacotta with dulce de leche and salt crystals and the chocolate mousse with cream.
In short, for anyone who thinks Italian cuisine is all about pizza and pasta, this is a great place to try something different.

A very good restaurant in Ventimiglia. Located in an alley behind the market.
For us, it's the best in Ventimiglia. The atmosphere is very friendly, the service is impeccable, and the food is very, very good and creative. The menu isn't extensive, but it's adequate. There are dishes that never change, like the vongole, and then there are creations like the breaded soft-boiled egg with Talegio cream and focaccia croutons...a marvel.
We are never disappointed and love going there.
Thank you for all the great times at your restaurant, and keep delighting us.

Everything is homemade.
The desserts are homemade.
The server speaks French.
The bread isn't very good, though (the bag of bread costs €4.50).

I went without a reservation for dinner and had a great time. The atmosphere was intimate and relaxing, the menu interesting and varied (both meat and fish) with a good wine selection, and the service was more than excellent; the waiters were excellent at managing the tables.

Piccola osteria nascosta in un vicoletto di Ventimiglia, che per me è assoluta garanzia di buona qualità del cibo ed eccellente ospitalità. Frequentiamo questo locale da anni (tappa fissa prima di ogni viaggio in Francia) e ogni volta non posso che raccomandare caldamente il brandacujun, il coniglio alla rossese, e ovviamente un immancabile piatto di pasta al pesto ligure. Se a fine pasto rimane spazio, da provare anche il dolce con zabaione. Conto più che onesto e gestione cordiale e veloce. Servirebbero più ristoranti così, consigliatissimo!

Le repas était très bon et très copieux notamment pour le risotto aux asperges .
Personnels très sympathique.
