We were passing by and decided to stop. They set up our table right away. The owner is a true Campanian and very welcoming. We didn't have to wait long for the pizzas. We ordered tuna and onion and arugula, parmesan, and cherry tomatoes. Both were good. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. The restrooms are particularly clean and tidy. Prices are moderately low and there's a wide selection of pizzas. The dough is fine and the pizzas are a standard size. Two pizzas and two medium beers came to around €25. I recommend them for informal occasions.

We were there by chance for a car event in Modena in the square and stopped for a quick lunch and found it very good, friendly staff and excellent food, we had a first course with sublime aubergines but also my son's cappelletti were excellent

I've been there a few times for lunch and have always enjoyed the prix fixe menu. The bruschetta they serve as an appetizer and the grilled steak are excellent. I often recommend it to tourists I meet on business, too.

Highly recommended. I had the pizza, which was EXCELLENT and easy to digest, and I say this even though I suffer from reflux. Go for it! 😃

Grottino has been around forever. I don't know if I'm older or he's older, but since I was a kid, when pizza was just pizza (and didn't pretend to be a gourmet experience), he was there. And it's one of the landmarks in a changing downtown area, like the Pomposa fountain or the Collegio porticoes.
As far back as anyone can remember, real pizzerias have always had a good seafood selection, and finally we said: let's do it! Seafood salad as an appetizer, thankfully split in two because a single portion is more than enough for two. Delicious seafood risotto, excellent shrimp and calamari skewers. Sorry, Grottino, for decades I've always just had pizza (which, by the way, has never disappointed).

Siamo stati a cena in questo posto trovato con The Fork ed è stata una bella scoperta.
Menù con ampia scelta, locale davvero molto bello essendo enoteca con tantissime bottiglie. Servizio cortese, unica pecca essendo magari che ci sono moltissime bottiglie, c'è stata un pò di esitazione alle richieste del nostro gruppo ma poi abbiamo risolto. Anche il cibo di buona qualità con un ampia scelta.
