Too bad it wasn't very popular. Friendly staff. I liked the pizza a lot. Particular tastes and digested without problems, even if finishing it all was challenging! Environment perhaps in need of a bit of updating. Excellent quality/price ratio

For me it will always be the ❤️ pizzeria! Amazing pizza, I recommend the scamorza and lemon and as an appetizer two broccoli friarielli which are imperial at the Grottino!

Pizza evenings in Modena at the Grottino. The restaurant is divided between the possibility of a large outdoor terrace and the usual inside. The staff are truly welcoming and kind, like true friends. This time we ate pizza which is always a very good guarantee, but other times we had fish dinners and I must say that was also good. You have to book or wait because it's always full. Highly recommended +++

We were luck enough to stay within a short walk of this restaurant, the food is superb. The people running this restaurant are super friendly and very helpful. We ate here twice on our 4 day trip and both meals were amazing. The Prosciutto and Parmigiano starter was excellent, I had the one of the specials a Calzone and my mum had Spagetti Vongole which was loaded with so many clams. The draught beer was good and the white wine was excellent (according to mum) this was a recommendation by the waiter. On our second visit I had the Tortellini which was fantastic, Mum had the Vongole again as she has talk about it for 2 days. The friendly service, great food and alfresco dining (in a partially closed street) was first class and to top if off the best expresso I had in Modena. Thank you Al Grottino, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Place in a good location, availability of seats both inside and outside, good pizza and fast and friendly service. Good value for money. Advised.

Excellent restaurant, service 💯 with my family we ate a fish-based menu. Fresh products, I especially recommend you try the delicious Sicilian-style scialatielli.

I had a great experience at Al Grotino Pizzeria. The staff was efficient and quick, making the dining experience smooth and pleasant. We ordered two pizzas from the specials menu, and both were delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and the crust was perfectly cooked, although it could have been richer in its basic taste. Recomended.

Good Food! We ordered the Tortellini and they were great. Highly recommend.
