Colapesce In Siracusa

We went to this wonderful little place to spend a different Saturday. Attention to the customer, cordiality and friendliness are characteristics of this restaurant. The kindness of the staff has remained in our hearts. If I could, I would give one more star for the attention to detail. We were especially impressed by the doilies and cups!! Keep it up, highly recommended ♥️

What a nice place to enjoy a drink and a snack. The service is fantastic. For us it was a good reason to go back the next day. Not the cheapest place but one with a great atmosphere

A fantastic venue with a breathtaking sea view. The fish food is very fresh and prepared with great care by the kitchen, every dish is delicious. The waiters are kind and professional, always available to recommend the best dishes. An experience that is definitely worth living!

A very nice café, lovingly decorated in a 1960s style, and a very friendly waitress/owner. The extremely large cappuccino is fabulous, and the freshly squeezed orange juice is delicious. Everything is lovingly prepared and served.

Ortigia is a wonderful place, getting around it in the summer can be a considerable "effort" and Colapesce is the right place to refresh yourself. The place is furnished in a very original way, favors the "reuse" of objects and, although very different from each other (besides the furniture also the crockery) nothing seems to be the result of chance. The menu is not very rich, which for me is an added value as it guarantees the freshness of the products, but still varied enough to satisfy all palates (meat and fish) and all ages (for the younger ones, however, fried foods and potatoes). The standard menu also includes the proposals of the day. The fried foods were excellent, as was the tuna (perhaps slightly overcooked) and the couscous. The girls who helped us with the menu choice were extremely patient and kind, making the slight variations we asked for. The coffee was also good (I usually never drink it in restaurants because I generally ruin a good meal). What should not be underestimated is that the lunch tables are in the shade of the buildings and in a very ventilated area facing the sea.

Great spot overlooking the sea. Could be windy so my polpo went cold faster than I ate it.

The place is located in a very beautiful environment with views of the sea. I only had an appetizer with a drink but it was very good.
