Stumbled across this place for breakfast while staying in Riomaggiore for a couple days. We caught the croissants fresh out of the oven and they were hands down the best croissants we've had over a couple trips to Italy. The cappuccino was also great and the proprietor was really friendly too. I'm surprised by the poor reviews, you're missing out if you avoid this place.

Super place! Highly recommend for a 7AM coffee and croissant. 🥐 The owner is so friendly, converses with guests in English or Italian, and his bistro is full of life!

03/01/2025: Locale molto carino. Abbiamo mangiato abbastanza bene ma troppo caro per ciò che offre. C’è di meglio…nella media. Non so se ci tornerei.
30/12/2024: Locale curato, che aspira "in alto". Buonissima la qualità del cibo di alcuni piatti (non tutti). Qualità però non pareggiata dal clima un po' retrò di alcune scelte (es. Gli spaghetti ai frutti di mare serviti in un cigno di alluminio non sono il massimo). Altre pecche. A gennaio non si può cenare al freddo. Ci saranno stati 17/18 gradi al massimo e non è bello. Il rapporto qualità/prezzo, nonostante il posto, non è giustificato. Un antipasto e un primo, 45 euro a persona. Capisco la location estremamente turistica e richiesta ma c'è bisogno di attrarre anche il turismo italiano, non solo quello straniero.

01/09/2024: Die Lage ist top. Vermutlich der Hauptgrund dafür, dass es dieses Lokal noch gibt. Der Service ist bemüht, aber nicht professionell. Das Essen ist OK, aber das war‘s dann auch schon. Auffallend ist, dass Einheimische wesentlich freundlicher behandelt werden, die besseren Plätze bekommen etc. als Tourist ist man Gast 2ter Klasse. Nicht OK. Keine Empfehlung.
