Personally I would avoid. Pretty good food, appetizers of crostini and good cold cuts with excellent artichokes. Steak more or less ok, nothing amazing, the addition of oil by the staff was strange. Good potato side dish. Delicious panna cotta, hands down the best dish of the dinner... good service, friendly waiter and excellent location. Surprisingly good house wine. Nice atmosphere of the place, like a classic home-style trattoria. What's wrong? Well mainly two things: the steak we were told was 3 kg, at most it was half that; In 8 people with shared starters, steak, house wine and only 2 desserts we spent €60 each. €60. Extremely overpriced, I don't see the value in it. There are billions of other places where you will dine better for much less. Sin.

A simple trattoria, but tasty food and true Tuscan cuisine

One of the best trattorias in the center of Florence. It was a very pleasant discovery. We ordered the pappa al pomodoro (sublime, among the best I tasted during my trip to Tuscany), the ribollita (very good, truly recommended). The dishes had a homemade and really tasty taste to which I give 5 stars. The Fiorentina for two, on the other hand, is less exciting (1200 kg), in my opinion too nerve-racking, but still good. The two of us spent around €120 without alcohol. If you are in the center it is definitely worth it!

La miglior trattoria per la bistecca di Firenze perche' hanno la cucina economica del secolo scorso che funziona perfettamente che garantisce una cottura perfetta e consente dopo di riscaldare sotto al forno a legna e per mangiare un ottima fiorentina tiepida e non fredda come di solito accade quando si cuoce a fiamma troppo alta. Vi consiglio questa trattoria a conduzione famigliare con un gentilissimo Fabrizio in cucina e Gloria che gestisce i tavoli come fa una padrona di casa.

One of the true typical trattorie in Florence. Simple Tuscan menu choice with excellent quality ingredients. Not very many seats, long tables to share with other parties. Very good service, excellent food. Don't miss it if you want to try excellent local food.

Travelling solo, this was a good option for me as tables are shared at Coco Lezzone. I ended up having a wonderful chat with the couple seated beside me. I enjoyed the Pappa al Pomodoro, Arista al forno (roast pork stuffed with rosemary) and white beans. The red table wine was, surprisingly, quite acceptable though not memorable. Overall very satisfactory.
