Everything was delicious, the staff was very kind and friendly. We were served by Tony who was really Super!!

It's been a few months if not a year since we returned to the restaurant; a few things have changed but not the goodness of the dishes. The lady is always friendly, attentive and precise like the dishes, good, abundant, simple and very tasty. The society, the public, the needs, the attention and perhaps even the culture in eating have changed. I found the restaurant welcoming for those who already know it, too simple perhaps for a pirate of places, the dishes perfect but not plated perhaps as many would expect today, the familiar environment but perhaps too much for those who have never experienced it. In short, for me who knew it it was a dive into the past and the flavors of the past, perhaps for young tourists from all over the world obsessed with food and wine a little too anchored and stuck in the past. I will definitely return because those farfalle with fresh peas made me ENJOY a lot.

Eating here is like going back in time where the food and service are doing all the talking.
A true Tuscan gem one shall not ever miss.
Try the pappa al pomodoro or the Florentine steak they are both sublime!

I had dinner with the family. Typical Tuscan tavern, simple but with excellent dishes. Everything we ate was good: ribollita, tomato soup, tomato croquettes and cantucci. The lady who welcomed and served us was kind. But considering the environment the prices could be lower. However, to be recommended as an experience and for the excellent food.

If you are a tourist looking for a place to eat in a non-touristy way and if you want to taste true Florentine cuisine, here you are in the right place😍 unforgettable cuisine, like the historic and characteristic place. We ate an excellent first course of farfalle with porcini mushrooms, very tender tomato chops, a side dish of sautéed spinach, a quarter of wine, and... Last but not least, cantucci with vin santo and pears cooked in wine. We spent €73... And digested it perfectly 😍 super recommended!!!

La miglior trattoria per la bistecca di Firenze perche' hanno la cucina economica del secolo scorso che funziona perfettamente che garantisce una cottura perfetta e consente dopo di riscaldare sotto al forno a legna e per mangiare un ottima fiorentina tiepida e non fredda come di solito accade quando si cuoce a fiamma troppo alta. Vi consiglio questa trattoria a conduzione famigliare con un gentilissimo Fabrizio in cucina e Gloria che gestisce i tavoli come fa una padrona di casa.
