Absolute gem at the border of Florence centre, with real Italian dishes, friendly staff, and a wonderful authentic interior. There'a a lot of place in the back, and the airconditioning is a plus during hot summer days. Perfect for pranzo or cena 🤌

By far the best steak I’ve ever had in Florence and the panna cotta was to die for. I’d go back just to have those two dishes again. Although the sides weren’t my favorite, I still recommend this spot to anyone who visits Florence.

We were struggling go find our car park in central Florence (be warned!) and were offered immediate and kind help from a man from this restaurant. As a result, we decided to go right back to try it. It was truly fantastic find! We were served with the traditional Fiorentina steak (which would melt on any mouth), lovely fresh mushroom pasta, delicious pipettes…all washed down with wonderful wine. Tony, who was engaging from start to finish, made our time very pleasurable. What a find…not only for us but for a certain well-known Hollywood actor and senior members of the UK and Dutch royal families, who have also frequented this trattoria!!!!

The Florentine steak is enough for two people. Order a simple salad to also share, and this will be enough. Forgo appetizers or a pasta dish.

Ottimi piatti della tradizione toscana, il locale è molto sincero e spartano, esattamente come ce lo aspettavamo. Servizio veloce, non troppo cortese, ma in linea con il posto, niente di cui lamentarsi. Il prezzo ci è sembrato eccessivo considerato il contesto e ciò che abbiamo mangiato (2 piatti a testa con vino della casa e dolce).

29/07/2024: This place was recommended via our hotel and it did not disappoint. Great Tuscan food with fantastic service and atmosphere. We enjoyed it so much we came back a second time during our trip. I would highly recommend the pappardelle with wild boar ragu.
