Unplanned lunch after a visit to the Sacred Woods of Bomarzo. The welcome, friendliness, and service were truly second to none. Despite the busy holiday, the owner found us a table in a comfortable and relaxed setting. We found authentic and genuine flavor in all our dishes: tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms, mixed grill with arrosticini, Roman-style artichokes, and chicory. Everything was exceptional, with a tiramisu to finish, which deserved top marks (traditional and freshly made, a rarity) and a coffee that surprised us with its pleasant, lingering aftertaste. The house red wine, however, was the only thing we weren't entirely sold on; we'll probably opt for a bottled one another time.
Definitely a restaurant I recommend and will keep as a reference point for future trips to Bomarzo and the surrounding area.

Arriving at 9:15 PM without a reservation, we still found a table in the restaurant's beautiful courtyard, which exudes peace and tranquility. We knew the wait would be long, and it was (we finished our dinner of two first courses and one second course in two hours), but it was worth it. The first courses were excellent, all handmade and freshly made (which is why we waited), but they were extremely tasty and generous in both portion size and toppings. The prices weren't excessive considering the quality and quantity (€14 for the first courses). This has become a must-try when passing through Bomarzo, but be aware that patience is required (and will be rewarded)!

Giuliana, the queen of the kitchen. The dishes are beyond excellent, from appetizers to desserts. Silvano and Giuliana are wonderful people to talk to. I highly recommend them. See you soon, Mariella and I will definitely be back.
