Club One-Eight In Sarzana

12/05/2026: I happened to be passing through Sarzana, so I called a local biker friend who recommended and booked me a table at this osteria. I arrived and immediately felt at home. The owner was very friendly and welcoming, the place was quaint and charming. I read the menu and thought I'd order everything. 😬 Normally, I only order one thing for lunch, but this time I started with a sampling of bruschetta with tomatoes and anchovies, excellent. I continued with tagliatelle with anchovies and fresh tomatoes, truly delicious. I also ordered a magnificent cod Sarzanese-style for the main course. After a bit of a chat with the owner, I ordered a zuppa inglese, of which I am a connoisseur, but also often a critic and disparager if it's not made properly. I must say, it amazed me; that alone was worth the trip, among the best I've ever eaten. Congratulations, I'll definitely be back and I recommend everyone to try this osteria.
