Ciwara Ristorante Africano In Palermo

Left Palermo three months ago, and I'm still thinking about Ciwara. Amazing people, food, drink, and music. Couldn't ask for more and can't wait to be back there again.

After a dinner nearby we heard drums, we decided to find a source and it was best idea ever. We found i belive friend and family run established. We meant to stay for a dring but the music, dance and atmosphere made us stay till very late. I absolutely adore the people running this place, you can feel the positive vibe and the love. Everyone is welcomed with a big smile. That night is one of highlights of our stay in the city

We didn't have the chance to eat there, but we did stop for a drink. They have a small, very pleasant terrace in a lively plaza. The service is attentive.

What an amazing place! Just wonderful people, great food and a great live music performance. To top that, it's actually pretty cheap and they serve food until really late in the evening. The last night I was there, they served me a plate at 3:00!

Recommended! It was my first experience with Senegalese food. I ordered the Thiu djen and loved it. The fish was well seasoned, with just the right touch of lemon and a mild spice. The service was good and the atmosphere was very relaxed, accompanied by live music that transports you directly to Senegalese culture. I would return to try other dishes :)

First time having Senegalese food and I loved it, specially the Fufu. Lovely place too.

Best food you can get in the center, i advice the couscous and fufu for vegetarians

The food was amazing! The service was amazing! 10/10 recommend! I was looking for some late night vegan food and saw they have a vegan burger. Being a super late hour they didn’t have it available. But they whipped up something vegan for me anyway and were kind about and it was some of the best food I’ve ever had!

10/5 ironicly enough we went to sicily/palermo to experience Italian food and ambience. But in our 7 day stay in italy this was our best stop. Amazing food (mborokhé), the staff super nice and friendly and the live music completed the ambience. Even tho you might want a italian experience, this is a must go!
