Ciwara Ristorante Africano In Palermo

Authentic African food right in the Vucceria district. The food is wonderfully seasoned. The skewers as an appetizer are especially recommended. Unfortunately, the chicken as a main course was too dry. Otherwise, a great place!

Waked passed by chance. The food was amazing! Would highly recommend to anyone wanting something away from Italian/ Sicilian food. We had never had Senegalese food before, will defiantly be having it again. We asked what was recommended and got the Mafe. Get this don’t mess around. Great atmosphere and hospitality!

10/5 iconicly enough we went to sicily/palermo to experience Italian food and ambience. But in our 7 day stay in italy this was our best stop. Amazing food (mborokhé), the staff super nice and friendly and the live music completed the ambience. Even tho you might want a italian experience, this is a must go!

I only had one beer, but it's the warmest beer I've had in Sicily in a week. It's very well located right in the market. It's African food, different, so I ordered the beer first but couldn't continue. They have ethnic music concerts on Friday afternoons.

I recently visited Ciwara Bar in Italy and had a really good experience. The service was friendly and attentive, and the drink I ordered was well-made and delicious. Overall, it’s a great spot if you’re looking for a nice atmosphere, good drinks, and solid service. Would definitely recommend checking it out!

A must-see place when visiting Palermo. With live music (3 times a week). Just remember that standing and applauding is not enough for the artists. It is a good idea to order at least one drink. I recommend non-alcoholic. Super original.

El personal muy amable, la comida es buena... un poco picante. Pero vinimos por la comida como alternativa a la pasta/pizza que hemos estado tomando durante 2 semanas... y este lugar es más para la música... y la tocan fuerte!!

Chaque fois que nous venons à Palerme nous retournons dans ce restaurant d’abord parce que nous aimons la cuisine sénégalaise mais aussi parce que les concerts qui s’y déroulent nous offrent toujours un grand bonheur. L’accueil est toujours chaleureux. Les plats sont copieux et plutôt bons. Un seul bémol : le Tiebou Djen n’est pas extraordinaire ( sec, sans sauce d’accompagnement, pauvre en légumes et le poisson n’est pas cuit dans le bouillon comme cela se fait à Dakar!). Mais bien sûr et malgré ce détail nous reviendrons !
