Cisterna In Poggio catino

We loved its rustic charm. Very basic, minimalist, but what really matters—the food—is satisfying! Dining with wild boars grazing just a few meters away is truly captivating. I must return to try their pizza. Special credit goes to the location, atop the Poggio Catino mountain. Many people agree with us, so much so that reservations are a must.

We went for lunch and had a great time. We ate excellent quality grilled meat. We also knew that the lady makes homemade pasta. The place is rustic and friendly. You eat al fresco in the woods. We'll definitely be back.

The place is truly "wild," yet nestled in a wonderful forest. The meat is excellent, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend it to anyone passing through. Book in advance.
