Found by chance while I was out on a motorbike. The staff was very kind, I met the restaurant owner/chef who accompanied me to the table and immediately served me the appetizers: salami, Parmigiano Reggiano, fried gnocco and pattone, or fried mushroom rice, as they used to do. What can I say... everything was exceptional, especially the salami, which was amazing! Then I moved on to the first courses and took the pan of tortelli: a mix of four types of tortelli - green, pumpkin, potatoes and herbs, gorgonzola and walnuts - a spectacle for the palate. Incredible place, I will definitely be back!

Scoperto per caso questa osteria tipica lucchese. Cibi abbondanti e buonissimi,cucinati come una volta. Prezzo onesto, assolutamente consigliato. Ritorneremo presto.

Osteria il Barbagianni a Monsagrati. Bottiglia di prosecco, panzerotti crudo e stracchino, tartare, bistecca da un kilo con patate ed infine tiramisù. Cibo eccezionale, presente su the fork con sconto 50%, speso con sconto in due 42 euro euro complessivi. Andateci !!!!
