It's always nice to return to Gatto Blu after a stroll in the beautiful surrounding woods. This time, however, we found the cuisine more "experimental," undoubtedly good, but for our tastes, not very in keeping with the spirit of the place. Or perhaps, who knows, compared to the winter menu, it's easier to infuse it with oriental ingredients, which, honestly, we don't feel the need for here. The chef is skilled and the result is delightful, but the desire to innovate doesn't necessarily have to take exotic paths. We'll always return, hoping to find more consistency with the local area.

The food is really good. The service is fantastic. The only downside is that the place is in a difficult-to-reach area because it's full of narrow streets. It's hot inside the restaurant. Otherwise, I had a really good time. I recommend them.

Auf der Suche nach einem traditionellen Restaurant , fernab vom See und Trubel, sind wir aufgrund der Bewertungen hier her . Und nicht enttäuscht worden. Sehr freundlicher Service und sehr gute italienische Gerichte. Es empfiehlt sich manche Gerichte zu teilen um mehreres probieren zu können. Wir waren rechtzeitig im Ort und haben erst den phantastischen Blick auf den See genossen. Auch wir empfehlen nicht mit großem Auto in die engen Gassen zu fahren. Parkt am Besten am Piazzq Sant‘ Agata. Restaurant ist nur 200 m zu Fuß .

22/07/2025: My experience with the restaurant was definitely positive! From appetizers to desserts, everything was delicious! Homemade products made with high-quality ingredients, from the pasta to the baked goods. The pastries are completely handmade by Chef Matteo. Congratulations to the entire staff at the Golf Resort di BOGOGNO!
22/07/2025: An oasis of well-being! Two fantastic (relatively difficult) golf courses in a wonderful setting – with a view of Mont Blanc. The hotel is surrounded by nature, surrounded by both golf courses. The photos show hole 18 with a view of Mont Blanc, a view from the room across the terrace of the golf course, the clubhouse, the pool, the food, and two nutrias :-) The courses aren't easy, but we had beginners among us who played well. They clean your golf equipment and adjust your cart. Non-golfers will also find something to enjoy. There's a beautiful large outdoor pool and a wellness area. The rooms are very spacious and modern. There's an espresso machine, a refrigerator, some dishes, and a sink. A spacious terrace or balcony is available. The food is quite delicious, and the staff is consistently extremely friendly and on top of their game. There's a lovely bar with a rooftop terrace and a brilliant barmaid who looks after you and creates a great atmosphere. The breakfast is pretty good for Italy. There's also a pro shop with special offers. However, if you're looking for a real party, you'll be disappointed. It's in a fairly rural, village-like location, and you'll need a car to get to the nearest town. And: There are mosquitoes at dusk, so please pack your anti-inflammatory medication. We were there once in July and have already confirmed our plans for next year.

19/08/2025: This restaurant serves fixed price lunch during midday hours. “Proposte del Giorne”(Offer of the day) is written on the blackboard and is offered when you already sit at the table. The lunch offer priced at the fixed 12EUR per person and consist of the fist dish (primi piatti) and second dish (secondi piatti) and bottle of water. In addition to the lunch set , you can order wine and dessert at additional price but still very reasonable. The place was fully packed during lunch , so please be patient to wait until seated. There are not so many staff, so expect some delay before you can order. Otherwise , the personnel was very welcoming and warm and very busy trying to serve everyone as soon as they possible can. We were happy to eat from limited lunch menu and try new things which we haven’t planned.
07/08/2025: Excellent osteria with old-fashioned flavors. We had the fixed lunch menu for €12, including a first course, a second course, and water. All the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. The chickpea and bean soup was special. Try the desserts! The service was a bit slow, but everyone was very friendly.
