We stumbled upon this place by chance.
It's a club run by a young couple.
The place is clean, with vintage wooden tables and plenty of paintings on the walls.
The menu offers some interesting appetizers, a choice of two first courses and two second courses, and some desserts.
We had a cured meats appetizer with fried gnocco. The cured meats were excellent, and the fried gnocco was well-cooked and not at all greasy.
The orecchiette with turnip greens were excellent, the pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce balanced with the various ingredients.
The medium-rare tagliata was tender and flavorful, as were the roast potatoes on the side.
The draft beers were good.
It was a wonderful experience; the quality of the cuisine, the raw ingredients, the courtesy and friendliness of the waitress and the chef make us want to return.

Excellent service, good food, and quality music (for a musician, a must!!!)
I ate good food, not for those looking for a Michelin-starred restaurant, but for those who want hearty, "old-fashioned" cuisine in a convivial atmosphere.

My husband and I went to this trattoria for lunch on a Saturday in late October, after visiting the nearby Hermitage of Santa Caterina del Sasso, a splendid monastery on Lake Maggiore.
It's a typical village club, complete with bocce courts and a pergola with outdoor tables.
Inside, everything has remained as it was in the 1960s and '70s: tiled floors, mismatched solid wood tables and chairs, even the ice cream displays with advertisements on the sides: everything was truly delicious!
The atmosphere is familiar, like a regular hangout: friends sipping a Bitter at the door, chatting, retirees at the table with a glass of white wine, young people coming in and grabbing beers straight from the fridge, and families arriving for lunch.
The menu is small, with a few appetizers, a couple of first courses, a couple of second courses, and desserts, but there's also a completely vegetarian menu (with vegan options).
The aromas from the kitchen are inviting, the portions are generous, and the dishes are tasty, with a focus on seasonality, local produce, and fish (lake fish, of course).
You can drink beer or house wine (we opted for an excellent Sangiovese).
The young, attentive, kind, and efficient staff in the dining room, the prices are truly competitive—everything is perfect!
I'll be back and I highly recommend it!
