Historic place in the Novara panorama. Very simple, no frills and welcoming. The food is on average good but the quality can suffer if it is crowded. The paniscia is good but I don't think it's the best in the area (overcooked rice in general), failed fried frogs.... The tapulon and polenta and cod are good though. Poor bulk wine, I recommend the bottles available in the area, e.g. Gattinara. Prices quite cheap but not so much when compared to the place. Very friendly staff and relaxing atmosphere.

Just enough quality-price ratio. The food is good but for the price the portions are small. The place is not bad and the staff is friendly.

We particularly enjoyed the donkey stew with polenta. Tender and very good meat. Low prices.

Este es un restaurante típico con comida local. Tuvimos Paniscia y rustida con Polenta, estaban tan sabrosos! También tienen otros platos típicos como caracoles, polenta, Tapulon y estofado. Absolutamente recomendable a cualquiera que quiera probar la comida local. Los precios son justos.

Sono venuta apposta in questo ristorante per assaggiare la Paniscia novarese che è abbastanza diversa dalla panissa vercellese… Leggera, gustosa, molto buona! Provare per credere ! Staff gentile e proprietario molto simpatico, attento alla clientela …

15/07/2024: Un locale carino, con dehors proprio nella piazza della chiesa di Grignasco, che al tramonto è davvero suggestiva. Un’ottima scelta di vini e tanti stuzzichini di qualità per un Aperitivo con la A maiuscola. Se poi si vuole proseguire con la cena, l’offerta dei piatti è limitata ma sono tutti di qualità: come antipasti abbiamo assaggiato la pinsa con la pancetta cotta, la tartrà con bagna cauda e verdurine crude (ottima), le acciughe ripiene, gli arrosticini. Come piatto principale una buona tagliata di scottona e un discreto spiedino di mare. Servizio non velocissimo, ma molto cordiale. Prezzi un po’ cittadini (nessuna portata a meno di 10€), ma la qualità c’è. Bravi.
