Stumbling upon Cioccolateria Lorenzo was one of the highlights of our trip to Palermo! The chocolate here is simply incredible—easily the best I’ve ever tasted. Rich, smooth, and full of flavor.
The atmosphere was just as memorable as the treats. Our waiter not only joked with us and made us feel welcome, but also burst into Italian songs, creating such a joyful, authentic vibe. It felt less like a café and more like visiting a friend’s home where laughter and chocolate flow freely.
If you’re in Palermo and love chocolate, do not miss this place. A sweet experience in every sense of the word!!!

The female employee didn't even make eye contact or say hello to us when she saw us standing in front of the counter, so I wasn't in a good mood, but the tiramisu was delicious. The coffee flavor was strong, and the mascarpone was good too. The owner was kind!

Multiple people had spoken highly of this place to us. We went for breakfast, wide choice of cakes, coffee shop and hot drinks. We had two mud cakes, a friendship tea and a cookie, all very good. It's nice that there is transparency in the menu regarding the ingredients used.
The external environment is very nice, shaded, certainly cool even in summer.
We waited a long time both to order and to eat, but there seemed to be only one guy serving at the outside tables and there was a bit of movement so probably, also from what they had told us, it was an exception, worth going back to check. The offer of gift boxes with chocolates made by them is interesting.

Le chocolat chaud est parfait, même le patron me l’a refait alors car il trouvait que celui qui m’avait été servi n’était pas au top alors que moi je le trouvais très bien et effectivement le second était encore meilleur et plus onctueux que le premier , cela sans rien demander … Ce lieu est un peu excentré dans une rue calme , mais pas très loin non plus du centre et du bord de mer, avec un large choix de gros et de petits gâteaux à des prix très corrects, des chocolats aussi etc.. petite boutique avec tables , cadre sobre et agréable , intimiste, discret et un peu retiré de la vie trépidante de l’hyper-centre de Palerme sans être loin pour un moment de repos et de gourmandise , gentillesse et discrétion des hôtes à souligner.
