Cin Cin Bar In Castelbuono

13/08/2025: Da Enzo Cucina is a sort of trattoria that prepares traditional dishes and sandwiches of all kinds, including panelle and crocche'. The location is simple, with plastic tables and paper cups, but the tablecloths are paper with the menu printed on them. Two of us dined on a Sunday, the week before Ferragosto, and waited in line for about 35 minutes before being seated. The welcome was warm despite the heat and the dining room being completely full for at least three sittings. We ordered Appetizer: crocche' and panelle Pasta with white clams Pasta with sea urchins 1/2 wine 1 water Total €43 The wait staff was attentive and the food was very good, despite the menu indicating that the clams could be frozen. I had one of the best pasta dishes I've ever had. The pasta with sea urchins was excellent, but a little salty. The panelle were excellent, but I would have preferred them to be crispier. Overall, a good experience. We'll be back because we enjoyed both the food and the hospitality of the staff, who, despite their tiredness, held their own. I really appreciate the fact that there's no cover charge, just a symbolic €1 for the table... nowadays, all restaurants, or so-called restaurants, charge at least €2 per person for tablecloths and super-cheap disposable place settings.
