The place is worth it for its location: it's in the middle of a quiet square, perfect for a lunch on a sunny day. The service was ok, even though we saw a waiter screaming at people who sit at one table and decided to leave without ordering anything. The worst part though was the food: I ordered a carbonara, which was made with ham (not bacon, not guanciale), and the eggs were actually cooked, a sin for any Italian. I would only go there for a drink and appetizer, and then head somewhere less touristy for food.
Spent 3 evenings in Venice, we planned to try different restaurants every day. We enjoyed it so much that we came here every evening. Super friendly staff.
The food was very good. We had lasagna one evening and the second night had an anti-pasta and pizza I believe. The Aperol spritz were perfect. Enjoy. I highly recommend it!
Went to Trattoria SPolo’s a couple times during our stay in Venice. Sat outdoors. The waiters were excellent and even recognized us the second night. The food was very good. We had lasagna one evening and the second night had an anti-pasta and pizza I believe. The Aperol spritz were perfect. Enjoy.
