Ciccia House In Avezzano

We stopped here on Sunday evening on our way back from Pescara to Rome. The restaurant is large, spacious, and well-kept. The open meat counter is certainly a visual delight. We wanted a good steak, but instead they offered us an EXCEPTIONAL one. The owner (I believe) explained and showed us the differences between the various cuts and gave us the best recommendations. The meat was tender, juicy, and fatty, just as we wanted, perfectly cooked, and incredibly flavorful. The service is on par with the food; the two ladies in the dining room were excellent and very kind. My only regret is that I wasn't able to thank them as much as I would have liked, but we'll definitely be back and make up for it. The platter was also very good and well-stocked, and the fries were unforgettable. House red wine and dessert to finish, and we finished on a high note, ready to continue our journey home. The value for money was definitely excellent; in Rome, you can only dream of a dinner like this with excellent meat. Well done everyone, we'll definitely be back :)

Typical restaurant with a very rich meat menu. I also like the idea of ​​the internal butcher's-style counter. I took a scamorza with raw ham and a sliced ​​rocket, tomatoes and parmesan. The meat was cooked well and the scamorza was excellent. Friendly staff.

Pleasant and refined environment. Punctual and polite service. The peculiarity is having a small butcher's shop on site, if you want you can choose the cut you want and it will arrive at the table. On this occasion I tasted a wagyu steak for the first time, a butter!
