Excellent mutton and liver skewers, and the platter of cured meats and pecorino cheese was very good. We drank a house Montepulciano, which was also excellent. I'd say it was a positive experience! The meat counter is wonderful...

Excellent meat, perfectly cooked. Lots of choice, even the starters were very good. The price was more than reasonable.

We stopped here on Sunday evening on our way back from Pescara to Rome. The restaurant is large, spacious, and well-kept. The open meat counter is certainly a visual delight. We wanted a good steak, but instead they offered us an EXCEPTIONAL one. The owner (I believe) explained and showed us the differences between the various cuts and gave us the best recommendations. The meat was tender, juicy, and fatty, just as we wanted, perfectly cooked, and incredibly flavorful. The service is on par with the food; the two ladies in the dining room were excellent and very kind. My only regret is that I wasn't able to thank them as much as I would have liked, but we'll definitely be back and make up for it. The platter was also very good and well-stocked, and the fries were unforgettable. House red wine and dessert to finish, and we finished on a high note, ready to continue our journey home. The value for money was definitely excellent; in Rome, you can only dream of a dinner like this with excellent meat. Well done everyone, we'll definitely be back :)
