Cicci In Lucca

We arrived in Piazza dell'Anfiteatro and found ourselves in front of the restaurant da Cicci. Cristina and the owner Paolo welcomed us like family. The place is very nice and well-kept. The porchetta and the Fiorentina are truly delicious. I highly recommend it. The wine is excellent. It's a must-try every time we return to Lucca.

Absolutely wonderful. We happened upon this small establishment by chance and were delighted by our experience. Most importantly, the food. We had a variety of dishes; bruschetta, pasta, filet, sausage and potato, deserts and each one was spectacular. The service was not only efficient but personal and friendly. Viola was a delight. I did not get everyone’s name that cared for us but I felt like I was at an old friend’s home for dinner. If you want to have pizza in the Piazza with a hundred other people then you should do that. But if you want to have a dinner that you will remember 5 years from now and eat real food served by people who care if you love what you are eating, then go here!

Between Emilia and Tuscany, excellent hospitality and food, and, during lunch break, a good cigarette to help digest. Excellent rare steak. One-off, excellent fried porcini mushrooms. And to finish, cantuccini and vin santo. Thank you for your hospitality.

I'll be back for sure, I went there a couple of weeks ago, I loved the decor! basically it's an old butcher cleverly converted into a restaurant and I had the most delicious steak ever combined with an incredible Rosso di Montepulciano! Prices are reasonable

Excellent Florentine steak and tartar, the porcini mushrooms brought raw, very good Nero del Gobbo wine, excellent, very kind and helpful staff. I recommend going to everyone

We stumbled upon it by chance. The waitress Viola was very kind. The Florentine steak was excellent and the sausage was exceptional. I had a wonderful time and highly recommend it.

A very warm welcome, smiling and friendly. The meal was simple and very good.

The food was very good, both the meat and the appetizers. The quality-price ratio was fair. Some things that could be improved, in my opinion: the table was always shaking, the drinks arrived after the appetizers, my companion wasn't asked how she preferred the fillet to be cooked, the beer selection was limited, and the waitress should use a notepad to avoid taking one course for another.
