Cicchetti In Venezia

Ive stayed here twice within a year, location is very convenient for getting to the main station and some nice restaurants around. Best western is a good brand and check in is always fast and smooth which is great. My only issue on the second visit was that they assigned us room 430 which had a big mould problem and therefore gave off a bad odour as we checked in. This room should have been placed as out of order as its not suitable for occupancy. I did mention it during check out but was told its noted which wasn't very reassuring. Anyways a good hotel overall.

We stayed from October 3rd to 6th. The hotel is pretty basic overall, especially the rooms. Breakfast lacked a bit of variety, as it always offered the same things, and there wasn't much more choice than a few pastries, cold cuts, fruit, yogurt, machine coffee, scrambled eggs, sausages, bacon, and little else. Some seagulls stole our breakfast :(, but Ludovica was very kind to help us, to be honest. The location is very good, as it's quite central. It's also worth noting that cleanliness was very good, as were the recommendations from reception.

The staff is beyond amazing and we will always remember how helpful and kind they ALL were. ❤️

I stayed at the Continental after looking at many reviews of hotels in Venice. The best: Its terrace overlooks the Grand Canal. The lunches there are wonderful, the service is very attentive and helpful, and the food is good—the best way to recharge before a day of sightseeing in Venice. Its location is very central and close to public transportation that takes you to the airport. We had a problem in room 160. The double bed was sunken in on one side. We complained to reception, and they changed our room for a larger one, which I want to thank them for. It's a highly recommended and pleasant hotel. Final comment: Aimed at some guests staying there. If you don't like pigeons, you can go to the desert (there aren't any there), but don't try to kick them while you're eating. That irritates me as an animal lover and says little about you.

Stayed here for a few nights and was pleasantly surprised - we were upgraded to a higher room category at no extra cost. The room was very clean, with good air conditioning and an incredibly comfortable bed - the most important thing when staying for several nights. Highly recommended!

Perfect location, 4 mins walk from the train station and very close to the water bus. Great rooms with beautiful views. Breakfast was really good a lot of options. Staff were very friendly. Would highly recommend.

The location of the hotel is exceptional and the staff excellent.

First time in Venice and we were very happy with our accommodations at the BW CHC Continental. Location was perfectly situated on the Grand Canal and fully immersed in old world charm. You'll need to arrive by water taxi. We had bfast at the hotel and it was excellent. So many options including vegan pastry, muesli options, beans and mixed veggies, fruit, and non-dairy milk options as well as eggs, bacon, croissants among many tarts, bfast cakes, excellent! The staff were attentive, friendly and helpful especially Danna & Nicole at the front desk who helped us navigate an emergency with knowledge on what to do, offering a calm presence and empathy until it was resolved. They were amazing! There were 4 of us staying and we will all stay here again!

Small room but great location. We like to sleep with the window open and even though our room was located at a back alley it still was so noisy. We were frequently woken up by noise from catering at 3 at night or 6 in the morning.

We had the most amazing stay at this hotel. On arrival they had upgraded us to a room looking over the canal, which was such a lovely surprise. The room was comfortable, modern and spacious and the view of the canal was perfect. The breakfast was delicious and had a wide range of choice. Though the highlight of our stay was the incredibly friendly staff, Nicole and Diletta on the front desk in particular were very smiley and friendly, and all of the staff at breakfast were efficient and welcoming. We would love to stay here again and cannot fault a thing! :)
