Cibus is a guarantee! I've been going to this restaurant for years and I'm surprised I've never left a review. Cibus is the kind of restaurant you always want to return to because you'll rarely eat the same dish twice. The menu changes regularly, with dishes influenced by multiple cultures; always perfectly balanced. The dining room is managed with equal attention by the owner, who leaves no detail to chance. Here, you'll feel pampered.

I want to compliment you on the attention to detail in the table setting, the impeccable service, the customer service, both in terms of the choice of dishes and wine, and the truly charming venue! Everything was excellent, you were truly excellent! The only reason I didn't give the food five stars is because the pasta arrived a little "al dente" and wasn't creamy enough. The rest of the dishes, including the desserts, were top-notch! I'll definitely be back. Bravo, bravo, bravo! 👏

High-end food and experience at a reasonable price. We had the clam and pistachio pesto spaghettone, and a ragù dish (apologies that I don’t recall the exact name), followed by the panna cotta, and every one was delicious. Complimentary bread basket all freshly made and also excellent. Great depth of flavour and a nice edge of modernity to traditional dishes. The staff gave good advice on wine pairings and were in general knowledgeable and very friendly. Would definitely return. We were seated immediately without reservation.

Attentive service (the waitress speaks French) and gourmet dishes for a very good price/quality ratio! The primi piatti are served Italian style, so if you're feeling peckish, you can stick to your meal (especially since it's excellent). I recommend it!

I've been eating here several times a year for several years, but this is the first time I've left a review. The reason is simple: yesterday's themed dinner amazed me. The owners, fresh from a trip to Japan, brought (and captured) some extremely unique dishes—or rather, flavors. And here's the best part: last night I tasted some unusual dishes, far removed from the oriental cuisine we're used to here. It's as if, having sampled a hundred flavors in restaurants across the land of the rising sun, considering our own tastes and the availability of the ingredients, we had brought home half a dozen or so. The result is astonishing and, in my opinion, unprecedented. Nothing spicy, nothing hot, not a hint of soy sauce. Simply (so to speak) flavors in our Italian style, but absolutely original. Here's the breakdown: Wagyu beef croquettes with plum ice cream (honorable) Vegetable okonomiyaki with nori seaweed ice cream (honorable) Shellfish and mollusc yaki soba with cabbage ice cream Curry soup with vegetables and rice ice cream (honorable) Pillo tempura with potato rosti (honorable) Vegetable and lotus flower tempura with sesame ice cream (honorable) Fruit sando with cremino ice cream Matcha tea tiramisu ice cream cookie

Found by chance in the alleys of Genoa. A great discovery. We had a great time. Everything was very good, attentive service, and a clean, modern atmosphere. Thank you. We'll be back soon.
