Cibus & pizza In Lucca

We went for lunch on Sunday and had an appetizer (fried meatballs, EXCELLENT) and two pizzas. The pizzas were well-filled, thin, and very crispy, just the way we like them. The dishes at other tables were very inviting. The owners were very kind. Highly recommended.

We went to this place for lunch on a Sunday after calling half the city and finding it packed. We didn't have very high expectations because the place didn't look very inviting from the outside, but it's very cute inside, and the food is excellent! The pappa al pomodoro and the Chianti stew were especially good. The staff were very friendly, and the prices were reasonable. ☺️

Good food and fair prices. The pizza is thin and very crispy; we really liked it. The place is nice. The service was quick, the girls serving were attentive, and the welcome was homely. My only complaint is that I recommend slightly modifying the customer approach, making it more "professional." While a customer is eating and talking to other diners, the wait staff should generally intervene as needed and not remain in the room talking loudly for long periods, especially in a small space. I realize everyone has their own way of welcoming guests, but in general, it can be helpful to keep this in mind, especially with passing customers with whom you're not familiar. A more reserved approach is more likely to always hit the mark.
