The trattoria advertised as the best in town was a bit of a disappointment. We tried five dishes and appetizers. The meat platter and the slow-braised lamb were very good. The rabbit pasta was tasty, although the rabbit was token. The orchette with tomato sauce was decent but not outstanding, and the eggplant lasagna wasn't to our liking. The wait for a waiter was very long, and the second bottle of water we ordered didn't arrive, but it was on the bill. And the wait for the bill...

Cibus serves traditional Puglian plates paired with excellent wines. The staff is warm and welcoming. We spent 12 days in Puglia. Visited Cibus twice and filled our wine suitcase from their well stocked cellar. Highly recommend the restaurant to anyone driving by.

Excellent dinner for two. We ate well in a welcoming place. The atmosphere was a bit touristy, but that didn't detract from the quality of our evening (or the food!!).

Happy birthday, Mom!
We went to this restaurant to celebrate my mother's 60th birthday on August 15th.
The location is fantastic, right in the historic center of Ceglie, within the ancient Messapian walls that convey the place's sense of history.
The food is truly excellent, from the appetizers to the parmigiana and the succulent beef shank.
A top place for an evening to remember, thanks Cibus!

The place is beautiful and charming, perfect if you're looking for a special atmosphere. The excellent house antipasto is highly recommended. Quality ingredients—bread, olive oil, everything delicious. Worth the trip, highly recommended.

We kwamen voor diner. Rond 20u was het al gezellig druk. Vriendelijk personeel, goed eten voor deze prijs. Jammer dat de steak tartaar bijna bevroren was maar verder prima. Heerlijke wijnen! Zeker een aanrader
